Speaking of hairy lesbian mermaids, there is something now even worse.
I don’t know exactly where is western Asia or eastern Africa these people are from, but their is a group that come to the swimming pool and swim in their underwear. But wait, it gets worse.
Before leaving, in the changeroom, they put their wet underwear over the wall mounted hairdryers and stand their until their skivvies are dry. Serves 2 purposes… 1, it makes walking home much more comfortable (not walking with wet undies and not having to go commando), plus 2, Saves time and money on the weekly laundry.

Oh, and on Sunday nights, one has to leave up to an hour earlier because a different group from North Eastern Asia use this night for their weekly bathing and tie up all the showers for a very long time.

        1. Weary Traveler

That reminds me of a horror story a friend of mine told me about the gym. Not sure if I can tell it here, but it was about a guy who used the hand dryers to dry “himself.”

          1. Weary Traveler

Indeed. And this was some Asian guy doing this too.

What goes on in certain parts of the world, I do not want to know.

          1. bill smith

            In a way…. X+3=Y
X= the amount of Bambah packages all or in-part above the water.
            What is Y?

          2. Proud Conservative Mom

Oh no no no no no!
I am on vacation from math.
            I’m running on fumes.
            Just not happening.
As Nancy Reagan said: “Just say no!”

My 18 year old is thrilled that you’re torturing me.
He knows how much I “love” math.
In all honesty, I loved Geometry and didn’t mind algebra.

How many packages of Bamba total?
            15?

          3. Proud Conservative Mom

I thought he originally said that three were totally under water.
Then he said only those that were partially under water or on top of it.
I thought I saw 15 in that case.
Ergo, I edited my original posting.

          4. Weary Traveler

Ah, so if I counted 16, and it is plus 3, then it should be 19. Don’t know why I initially multiplied instead of added.

Funny little side story for you.

Marty was telling me about a story he read in one of the local papers in the city he works in which is San Ramon. Apparently, there was a story about a feud between a local school and a neighbor, and allegedly, the neighbor gave his home wi-fi network a snarky name to make fun of the school. Since it did target one of the teachers, MArtty thinks it may actually be a student doing this.

But he said the story gave him an idea, of renaming his home wi-fi network to something that would be snarky towards libs to trigger the neighbors. LOL

          5. Weary Traveler

We’re thinking of some things. But he immediately ruled out something like “Trump 2024” s it would make it too obvious who the culprits are. LOL

          6. Weary Traveler

Another little funny story. For once, synchronicity turned out to be a bit on the humorous side.

So obviously, based on the above, I finally got to connect with Marty last week. We went over to Panera on Friday. Some lady walks up to our table, and says to me, has anyone ever told you that you look like Steve Perry? That’s the lead singer of the 80s rock band, Journey.

Marty is not exactly a music aficionado, so he had to look up Steve Perry. At first he didn’t see the resemblance until refining his search to “Steve Perry young.” And bingo, he saw the resemblance. We had a pleasant back and forth with the lady, and later we joked about it a little afterwards.

Fast forward to Saturday night, I am out taking some photos of Halloween decorations. I was talking to a guy with his family, and he told me about a house in another neighborhood that really went all out. Apparently, the people that own the house do set design for theater and had all these custom made animatronics. It was pretty impressive when I got there.

They had a little light show and music playing. And guess what song comes on I am setting up the camera and tripod? Separate Ways by Journey. NO WAY!! Just 27 hours after that incident in Panera.

          7. Weary Traveler

It is a pity Marty, or someone wasn’t there to share that with. I had to contain my laughter.

          8. Sapper 9

Myself included, if my granddaughter wasn’t at my home, I would be digging into this great case of wine that my GF brought to me.

Brazillian BBQ and a good stout wine. Mmmmm

          9. Sapper 9

Excellent, my son and his wife had a new baby boy two hours ago.

I pray that things are getting better for you.

    1. Weary Traveler

I remember Pat Condell making a similar point. He said that talking politics with a progressive is like talking religion with a Jehovah’s Witness. If you don’t play it for laughs, it will drive you up the wall.

      1. Proud Conservative Mom

I had such a good time today.
I was tagged into a situation on Twitter.
LOL, I became known as the missionary slayer, if you will.

It was originally a wonderful Twitter friend who seems to be a magnet for missionaries to attempt to turn her for some bizarre reason who tagged me.
Then three other Jews jumped into the conversation about an hour later.

Some of the responses that I got from the evangelical (he said he is one; all evangelicals are missionaries), was so bizarre I was ROTFL.

He claimed to know Hebrew at a third grade level but when I asked him what Aznayim are (they’re in a verse in Psalm 40:7), he couldn’t answer.
I told him my three year old granddaughter knows that Aznayim are ears.

I caught him in lie after lie.

        I had a blast.

          1. Proud Conservative Mom

            IKR?!
            I couldn’t believe it.
            What a freaking idiot.

That verse is very commonly mistranslated from my ears you have opened (to hear my (Hashem’s) words) to a body you have prepared for me which they say is Jesus.
A very blatant molestation of the verse!

He might have been skittish because of that.

            But still.
            No imagination.
I even typed the entire verse in Hebrew.
All that he had to do was translate it.

Truth be told, Google is AWFUL in translating Hebrew.
            Absolutely HORRENDOUS.

          2. Weary Traveler

That’s not all Google is terrible at.

I just wish they could leave people alone. It’s one thing if someone asks, but no… They just gotta proselytize everyone, no matter what.

Regular person: “Yeah, I am a little stressed since I learned the company I work for is being sold. I hope I don’t get let go as a result of it.”

Them: “Do you know Jesus? Have you asked him in to your heart?”

Regular person: “Uh, yeah… Thanks for listening and understanding, and not giving me an Asperger’s response. You are so empathetic. [/sarc]”

          3. Proud Conservative Mom

EXACTLY. They cannot leave people alone and are constantly going after Jews.
It makes me want to strangle them.

            YES.
Every non-related issue is an opening for them to preach their Gospels.

            Asperger’s is right!
            Good grief!

They need to sit down and shut up.

Brazil’s First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro showed up to vote in the country’s runoff presidential elections wearing a T-shirt depicting an Israeli flag.

Her husband, President Jair Bolsonaro, is facing left-wing challenger and former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who is slightly ahead in polls.

Bolsonaro, who enjoys the support of the country’s millions of evangelical Christians, pledged to move Brazil’s embassy to Jerusalem.

Elon Musk on Sunday tweeted a link to an unfounded rumor about the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, just days after Musk’s purchase of Twitter fueled concerns that the social media platform would no longer seek to limit misinformation and hate speech.

Musk’s tweet, which he later deleted, linked to an article by a fringe website, the Santa Monica Observer, an outlet that has previously asserted that Hillary Clinton died on Sept. 11 and was replaced with a body double.

In this case, the article recycled a baseless claim that the personal life of Paul Pelosi, the speaker’s husband, somehow played a role in an intruder’s attack last week in the couple’s San Francisco home, even though there is no evidence to support that claim.

Sen. Rick Scott says he’s “very optimistic” that the GOP will regain control of the chamber.

“We have a lot in play. The Democrat agenda is very unpopular…We have great candidates.”

    1. Weary Traveler

Amazing how self-proclaimed “geniuses” just don’t get it.

As far as I am concerned, both of them have sealed their fates. She didn’t have to go down for that fool.

  4. Sarita La Cubanita

Hi everyone. I’m sorry I haven’t been in here. Thank you for everyone’s patience. My sister has entered hospice…

    1. Weary Traveler

I’m so sorry. I just spoke to a former coworker recently on the phone, and found out that he is now in Hospice with throat cancer.

He was happy to hear from me, but in spite of his pep, his voice sounded really weak.

Sorry you are going through this.

        1. Proud Conservative Mom

It hurts so much sometimes that one can barely even breathe.

My 40 year old cousin with seven children (youngest is six) is in a hospice setting at home.
          She has a brain tumor.
It makes me shellshocked to see her.

I haven’t been able to see her since before the holidays.
I’ve been sick for over two weeks.

I don’t know how much time she has left.

          1. Sarita La Cubanita

Exactly! I have to remember to take breaths. OMG. I’m so sorry for your cousin. I was wondering. Are you emotionally ill with the idea of your cousin being ill, or are you suffering with your own ailment? I was wondering about the latter. I was hoping you were doing well…

          2. Proud Conservative Mom

What I have had for over two weeks was some crazy viral infection with fever for several days, feeling totally sapped, and then regression.

I relive the death of my aunt, my cousin’s mother from leukemia who died at 40, when Tzippora was 12.
Moreover, from my other side of the family, in January of 2001, I had lost a 14 year old first cousin to a brain tumor.

One of my second cousin’s daughters (she’s like a sister to me), died at 9 from Hewing Sarcoma (cancer in the leg) about 15 years ago.

I watched all of these people die.
            I’m seeing the horror again.

For an entire week after I visit Tzippora, I am emotionally shot to Hell.
It’s like a nuclear bomb went off in my body.

            The agony is excruciating.
None of these people died with a single wrinkle.

            How are you holding up?

          3. Sarita La Cubanita

OMG. You have a long list of loved ones you have watched leave. 😢 I am so sorry. I will pray for you and yours, Rivkah. So young. It’s good to know we’re expected back here, but it doesn’t help when one is right there, up close and personal, needing to do something, but unable to do anything but watch suffering. I watched a few Youtubes of Rabbi Manis Friedman explaining death. Very helpful. I love listening to him. But then I open my eyes, and there I am again, wanting to fix things, unable to fix them, etc

          4. Proud Conservative Mom

I’m so very sorry that you are watching this as well.
My husband told me that I have to prepare myself.
I am trying, but I am so sick of saying goodbye.
Moshiach can come at any moment.
I live for that moment; for the whole world to serve Him alone.
Of course, I will enjoy all of the “gravy” that comes with it.

            I’m devastated about Yolanda Shoshana.
I don’t want her to suffer.
            Who knows?
We could be celebrating Moshiach’s arrival in five minutes.

          5. Sarita La Cubanita

Maybe it will happen tonight. POOF! And suddenly our suffering will stop on a dime! I wish this constantly.

        1. Weary Traveler

Thank you. He moved to Texas some years ago, but haven’t heard from him since. He just called out of the blue one day after being incommunicado for a long time.

  5. Sarita La Cubanita

Tony emailed me. He has been having horrible trouble getting into NtJP, but I’m not sure why. I got this link from Bill Smith, and emailed it to him.

    1. Proud Conservative Mom

Since Bill switched to WordPress, he discovered that it cannot handle 1,000 comments.
The page went crazy and then comments totally disappeared.

It seems to work with approximately 500 comments.

      HP left the blog entirely.
DW lost her mother a few weeks ago and has been trolled like crazy.
      She’s incognito for now.

      Askjrsk hasn’t been well.
I don’t know the latest with him.
He had a new pacemaker put in and has cancer.

TG for some bizarre and unknown reason totally disappeared.
I have no clue as to why.

      1. Sarita La Cubanita

Oh ok. How weird! OMG lots of changes! I got an email from HP not too long ago explaining that he was on Twitter? I’m SO sorry for DW!!! I must be crazy. I was thinking that it was her dad who was a bit delicate of health… I seriously hate leftist A-HOLES! Oh nooo. I hope Ask is ok. I will pray for him too. Hmmm… does anyone have TG’s email?

          1. Sarita La Cubanita

Ok, thanks. I will email him and ask him for his contact info on Twitter. He told me he has followers and posts a lot of info about Israel. I like it when he does that, he gets people interested in understanding who are the people of Israel. HINT: THEY ARE NOT MOSLEMS!

          2. Sarita La Cubanita

I have a bad habit of telling leftists what they are. Hold on and let me find my dead ID on Twitter

          3. Proud Conservative Mom

            Oh no!
You can open a new account with a different handle.
I had two friends who did that.

            I have a backup account @Lanetzach.
(My inspiration was my favorite song by Yoni Z called Lanetzach (that means forever. My 21 year old son introduced me to the song Pesach time.)

          4. Proud Conservative Mom

😉😁 I was very frustrated trying to get an incognito handle that wasn’t taken.
Out of dire frustration, I gave up and made that my handle.

I was more technologically challenged than I am now.
            I’m still pretty challenged.
            LOL!

Bill created my entire page except for the handle.

Apparently I started to set it up in 2014 and didn’t realize it wasn’t completed.

I only went on Twitter to see Vinny’s page. He got me my first 13 followers.

I have about 2,035 followers but I have to vet some of them.
            I unhook missionaries and Dems.

I try to check my followers once a week.

          5. Sarita La Cubanita

I’ll try to start a new Twitter ID if it will let me. Can I use the same email and phone number to start a new ID if my last one was banned?

      2. Weary Traveler

I have some insight to the TG question. I got an email form him recently. His wife is not doing well. In and out of the hospital regarding a kidney stone of I recall correctly.

          1. Sarita La Cubanita

Yes, same here. Like someone stabbing you over and over till you are ready to just pass out or die.

          2. Sarita La Cubanita

Gosh, I hope we all get Moshiach’s visit tonight, and that it scares the hair off the leftists!!!

          3. Sarita La Cubanita

I will pop open a champagne!!! But maybe I’ll be too busy to pop open a champagne! I might be dancing! Or thanking HaShem or something!

        1. Weary Traveler

Nope. Elon said he would reinstate the account, but Trump stated he has no interest in returning and is focused on Truth Social.

          1. Weary Traveler

With all Trump has invested in putting together Truth Social, it doesn’t make sense he would use a competitor.

Especially now with how Truth Social has grown.

          2. Sarita La Cubanita

That’s true. However, he needs to drop by now and then. Elon fired the 3 main people who banned him.

          3. Weary Traveler

And the Schadenfreude has been off the hook on TS since the firings at Twitter began. Of course, I participated in it.

As schadenfreude is one of my all time favorite vices. LOL

        1. Sarita La Cubanita

Nope. Lapid is trash from the local dump and his wife as well. They are more interested in doing harm than anything else. They detest Israel but must love DNC money.

    1. Sarita La Cubanita

This might be very good, you know. Good for Israel. It shows and says a lot about Lapid.

          1. Sarita La Cubanita

Why would Lapid keep secret such a BIG THING??? Israel and yet they keep this secret??? Is he stupid, or is his love of leftism and their money too big for him to care if a scandal is too horrific for Israel?

    1. Weary Traveler

It’s been dull without you. We tried entertaining ourselves with with drinking games and shadow puppets, but it wasn’t the same.

          1. Sarita La Cubanita

Bill is such a good guy. Still, wearing a lampshade might have me rethinking his seriousness LOL!!!

  6. Sarita La Cubanita

Book recommendation. Ben Sasse has become president of UF, and he has his work cut out for him because he’s VERY conservative, and all universities in the U.S. (almost) are filthy leftist trash. So we’ll see what happens. However, my sister has been listening on Audible to this book, and says it’s GOLD! https://www.amazon.com/Vanishing-American-Adult-Coming-Crisis/dp/1250114403/ref=asc_df_1250114403/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312710253827&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1549326365279754283&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9011578&hvtargid=pla-332905589897&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=61681020945&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=312710253827&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1549326365279754283&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9011578&hvtargid=pla-332905589897

        1. Sarita La Cubanita

Nor I, but I’ll create a new one if they’ll let me use the same ph # given that I was permanently banned.

  7. Sarita La Cubanita

Ok, HB wants me to go watch Escape to the Chateau with him. We haven’t seen each other all day. Sigh. VIRTUAL HUGSSSSSSSSS!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Sleep well and wake up feeling and being so much better!!!

  8. Tony

Yeah, I’ve been away for weeks (Disqus did something odd and shut me out) and not one of you noticed. Not one. Or maybe you just said “Thank G-d” ? So hard lines, I am back.
How did everyone manage without Sarita ?

    1. Weary Traveler

With your government undergoing coup after coup lately, I figured you may have been a bit depressed.

  9. Weary Traveler

Here’s one that will turn all your stomachs. This is why I hate Liberals, and especially, leftist Christians.

So I don’t expect a church to put up the typical Halloween decor. This church put up a memorial on the corner that had pictures of people who died. And there was a table where you could leave “offerings.” As if it wasn’t bad enough that they would put Ruth Bader Ginsberg on the same memorial as Ann Frank, they had to put George Floyd’s picture next to Frank’s AS IF George Floyd could even remotely be compared to Ann Frank.

    These people are truly evil.

    1. Proud Conservative Mom

      That’s a great video.

I don’t have a video of this, but here’s my version:

Imagine a world where there is universal knowledge of Hashem, universal world peace, the Bais Hamikdash (Third Temple), the ingathering of all of the Jewish People to live in Israel, and the resurrection of the dead.
Imagine a world where the ruler who will oversee the rulers of all the nations and influence all of world affairs will be the very holy and righteous Moshiach.
Imagine a world where there is no more
      illness and antisemitism.

Imagine a world where Hashem’s Holy Name is revered by everyone.

That’s what I live for every single day of my life.

That is in no way a criticism in any manner whatsoever.

      1. Tony

Thanks. It was sent to me and works for me on the board. It’s from Google Photos so maybe there’s a password somewhere in the url that only works for me.
        Maybe I’ll take it down.

  10. John Gillis

    Happy Halloween, my NtJP friends!

Here’s a little guilty indulgence of mine. Every Halloween, since 1982, I have been watching “Halloween 3: Season of the Witch”. Albeit, it wasn’t a great movie, and there was a cheesy “Terminator” element to it, but I loved the deadly Halloween mask part. I would very much like to give the entire Biden Administration a Silver Shamrock Halloween mask tonight and broadcast the “big giveaway”.

    1. Weary Traveler

If I had kids to take trick-or-treating, I would do my own version of David from The Lost Boys. I got the wardrobe to do it.

But what David and his crew did to those party goers at the end of Michael’s initiation, should happen to the entire Democratic party, and the WEF.

Some of the visuals in this music video might be a little intense for some, but the song is definitely part of my Halloween soundtrack, which is different from most.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vN6gmfuJ02s

          1. John Gillis

I loved the theme for the movie. A girl I was seeing in 1987 was freaked out by that scene and she was considering breaking up with me because the movie didn’t phase me. In the cat, I was singing “Thou shalt not die” and she just screamed, “Take me home, John!!! Just take me home!” 😄

          2. Weary Traveler

“Santa Carla” is actually Santa Cruz which is my hometown.

Most of it was filmed there, with the exception of the rail bridge scene which was filmed down in Valencia, and the exterior of the cave which is down in Rancho Palos Verdes in the LA area.

Grandpa’s house — the exterior — was the old clubhouse at Pogonip which was roughly a mile from my house where I was living at the time.

The Lost Boys was more the guys movie, and The Goonies was more the chick movie.

          1. Weary Traveler

Marty will be coming by again to watch American Thought Leaders. The trick-or-treat’ers normally bypass through our neighborhood on the way to rich neighborhood up the street to get the “good candy.”

I did all my holiday photography over the weekend, and did a final run through of the haunted maze around the corner.

          2. Weary Traveler

I will. I may have to find a way to go with him if he ever visits his adoptive parents in NYC. Then we can swing by. But knowing Marty, it’s best to do that after the settlement, but I am not going all that way on the cheap.

Even if I had to pay for the whole trip, it is better then contending with rats in the back to save a few $$$. LOL

          3. Weary Traveler

I don’t know if I would stay in the city itself. Especially these days. In the Giulliani era, no problem.

As I have looked in to the area, one place that seems really nice to me is Seacliff, NY, which is on the north shore of Long Island. Are you familiar with it?

        1. Weary Traveler

They are one of my favorite bands to listen to when I am in a bad mood. Don’t know what it is, but something about Carl McCoy’s monster voice, and the music itself, that calms me when I am mad.

I guess I got problems. LOL

        1. Weary Traveler

Mine is a little more on the chic side, but also somewhat leaning towards Punk Rave.

Fun little fact about Carl McCoy there. He was raised a Jehovah’s Witness, and obviously rebelled against it.

One of his more popular songs is called Preacher Man which is about the phony preachers. I know it wouldn’t exactly be PCM’s cup of tea, but I know she would appreciate the sentiment. LOL

I get the chills from just seeing the picture of it’s outside entrance.

What really got to me also that’s not pictured, is the huge pile of little children’s shoes.

I won’t ever go to visit them, personally.
        I’m all “Holocausted out.”
I have seen enough pictures, read a plethora amount of books on the topic, and went to Yad Vashem and the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C.

I spoke to many survivors over the years and heard some of their heartbreaking screams during their nightmares.

I cannot handle following the Auschwitz Memorial Twitter page either.
        I muted it.

No one ever has to remind me of what was done to my people.

The only thing that gives me any solace, is knowing that Hashem never forgets anything.

As I told an atheist yesterday, Hitler didn’t escape his retribution by committing suicide when he swallowed a cyanide pill.

He was trying to convince me that if there is a G-d, then this world is His cruel experiment.

He mocked me for having faith and believing in a G-d whose existence cannot be proven (according to him).
I told him that it takes a far greater leap of faith to be an atheist!
That is absolutely true by the way.

    1. Weary Traveler

I heard that BS for so long. Did any of those geniuses remember that the Nazis were Socialists? Isn’t the word “Nazi” a contraction of the words “National Socialist?”

      1. Proud Conservative Mom

I’ve tried to educate these people.
You can just begin to imagine the very intelligent rebuttals.
        SMH…

They portray the Nazis to be crazy right wing lunatics, you know, like Orthodox Jews and Conservatives.

        Apparently, capitalism is tremendous evil.
Naturally, I responded that’s why so many are trying to escape their Communist Hellholes.
All to endure the horrors of capitalism.

        1. Weary Traveler

Keep in mind those are also the same people that think gender is a “societal construct.”

          1. Weary Traveler

When you see how physically deformed some of them are = Jerry Nadler for one, it becomes more of a probability.

          2. John Gillis

Jerry Nadler is what happens when you cross the human genome with that of fruit: hence the pair shape!

            Apologies.

            I relapsed again.
It’s either a type of flu or Covid.

BH, I got antibiotics for my sinusitis so at least my head isn’t throbbing.

That too shall pass, and I am very grateful!

Every little bit helps! Thankfully don’t have any health problems myself.

          6. Proud Conservative Mom

            Absolutely!
            Every little bit helps.

For some moronic reason, the protocol is to wait a few days before treating sinusitis with antibiotics.
            That’s across the board, apparently.

            My neighborhood is fairly quiet.
            I’m very happy about that.

          7. John Gillis

My observations tell me, Rivka, that these individuals are not only idiotic, but deep down believe we are more moronic than they, or failing that, too cowardly to stand up to their blatant lies.

I think it’s time we took a page out of Alinsky’s book and visit these jagaloons with the ridicule they so richly deserve. There is no defense against it and they are complete and utter objects of ridicule!

          8. Sapper 9

That is because if a group of leftist were lined up in their birthday suits, there would only be very tiny differences between the soy boys and the ugly females.

        1. Weary Traveler

That’s right. Nazi is a contraction of a longer word that made up the name if I am remembering correctly.

          1. Weary Traveler

I was also too lazy to look it up, and copy and paste it, so…. I guess we’re both a couple of bums. LOLOLOL!!

And any questioning of the likes of George Soros is an attack on all Jewish ✡️ people, but the filth running out of the mouths of the Squad and other Democrats isn’t.

        1. Sapper 9

The Democrats divide people into little boxes and create victim groups; any leftist from a victim group can use membership in the group as both a shield and sword.

Questioning any leftist from a victim group is an attack on all members of the group and will me labeled as an ist or ism.

The same protections and rights to victimhood are null and void if the member is conservative.

        2. John Gillis

I’m with Weary Traveler on this point: not only is it hypocrisy, but a complete disconnect from reality. Socialists cannot face the truth.

      1. Weary Traveler

They don’t. They just say the Nazis lied about being Socialists. Yet, somehow, Antifa isn’t lying by calling themselves “anti-fascists.” Go figure.

        1. george linker

Thus 75 million dead because of socialism and the socialist believers just brush it away with a total disconnet form reality. They are incapable of actually thought having been brainwashed into a false belief.

          1. Weary Traveler

They don’t want to face the truth, and be made to face their own guilt. They would rather project, and try to make us feel guilty.

        2. Sapper 9

The leftist sheep have been indoctrinated to believe that it was a form of “far right” socialism, which is more “authoritarian” and “fascist” than left leaning socialism. lol

They claim that the party of small government and individual liberties are authoritarian, while the party of big government, which controls every aspect of your life is authoritarian; the COVID lock downs were a great comparison of right vs left.

Benito Mussolini the father of fascism : ” Fascism is the merger of government and corporate powers”, which is exactly what the left wants, with their censorship agreements with big tech; their one party media, which takes many federal dollars; takeovers of education, healthcare, energy and banking sectors, while they use regulations. subsidies, grants and tax loopholes to control the rest.

The real fascists and authoritarians are looking back at them in the mirror.

I posted this on Truth Social also, and tagged him twice to taunt him. While pointing out that he hasn’t posted anything on TS in two and a half months because he can’t handle being told the truth.

My latest shtick is reminding everyone that it has been over two and a half months since his last post. LOL

  12. Weary Traveler

Maybe I was initially aiming too low when I first suggested raising and renting out therapy puppies for TDS sufferers. Although a large market, how much could I really charge for each one?

True, every little bit adds up.

Then I narrowed the market for fired Twitter employees recently. I am sure I can get a little bit extra due to their severance packages. Then I realized after the Gavin Newsom article, that I can narrow the market to even deeper targets by offering the Therapy Puppies to megalomaniac politicians like Gavin Newson and Hillary Clinton, whose presidential aspirations will never be realized. LOL

    Thoughts?

    1. John Gillis

Here’s mine: Liberals of any sort don’t deserve puppies. Pups are tiny little fonts of love and joy while leftists are joyless, black-heartened, bottomless pits of hatred.

Save the little guys for those who will appreciate them!

      1. Weary Traveler

I remember when I first proposed the idea for TDS sufferers, Gary made a meme that had a bunch of puppies and the caption read; “You want to leave us alone with a bunch of liberals? What did we do?” LOL

Both groups of shoes were left by fanatics who were psychotic. Both groups want the government to control others.

When my wife and I were in Prague where the Nazi’s made Jewish people take off their shoes before shooting them and then throwing their bodies into Vlava river. Many many of their shoes are prematurely on display at the rivers edge. Don’t know how but they have been preserved.
We also visited the Jewish Ghetto were the Nazis took them from their homes and were taken to the river.

You should see what I posted on Truth Social about this. We all know this was some gay lovers quarrel gone wrong.

We continue to fair well. ProgenyE has been through his annual fall cold.

          1. AuntiE*TFL

ProgenyE has some small rémanents of the cold. Part of that is his fault for not getting the rest he needs.

          3. Weary Traveler

That kind of reminds of a time when I was in Vegas, and one night we went to some hole-in-the-wall dive to get some Mexican take out.

There was a homeless black guy in the lobby who was panhandling the costumers. One bit that was funny was that one of the other customers was this older Mexican guy that looked like he just got off work, and he was staring the bum down with an angry look, and refused to even speak to him when asked for money.

Now this bum also had a case of Natural Ice (cheap beer for those not familiar) out in front. So he can afford booze, but not food. Yeah.. So the guy who invited us, who was Mexican himself, handed him a straw, and said “here you go; This will help you get drunk faster.” LOLOL!!

          4. AuntiE*TFL

I have a policy. If someone is panhandling at a restaurant or grocery, I buy a sandwich and beverage for them. Their reaction to receiving food tells you all you need to know.

          5. AuntiE*TFL

I once purchased a store made sub and medium orange juice. The gentleman told me that I had just provided him with two days of food. ProgenyE went back in the store and purchased a large container of store made chili for the man. He was blessing us all over the place. We figured we fed him four days worth adding the chili in.

The nerve of these people. Antisemitism seems to spike under Democrat rule. I don’t recall Jews being beat up in the streets of NYC when Giuliani and Pataki were in charge.

        The unmitigated GALL!
Yes! It absolutely does spike under DemonRAT rule.
        You are correct.
It was almost unheard of during Giuliani and Pataki.

They were both very tough on crime and supported the police officers tremendously.

        1. Weary Traveler

I keep in mind these are the same kinds of people who scream “White fragility” when you call out their racism, which is very similar to something equally as nasty as Neo-Nazi skinheads say about Jews.

It’s desperate gaslighting to project their own evil on to others.

Exit polls give Netanyahu at least a 61-seat majority
First exit poll shows Likud largest party with 30 seats, Yesh Atid 2nd with 24. Other polls also give Netanyahu a majority.

        1. John Gillis

You are 100% fortunate, Rivka. The concept of “free love” led to a huge uptick in unwanted pregnancies, abortions, venereal diseases, and fatherless children living in bastardy. The “me” generation of the 70s was an embarrassment.

Of course, no one wants to use a nuclear bomb except for those who have a maniacal agenda.

We don’t know every single trustworthy publication from every single country.

It’s always very helpful to have this information.

On a different note, you frequently quote the Guardian and it’s a garbage Commie propaganda newspaper.
        That, I do know. 👆

        1. Tony

Yes about the Guardian; I mentioned before that I read it because it has a very wide news coverage. As you imply, apart from that it is toilet paper.

      2. Sapper 9

I wouldn’t agree that no one wants to use them, there are many Muzzie zealots more than willing to use one; however, with their limited abilities, they would have to sneak the device across our southern border.

    2. Weary Traveler

Prepared for what exactly? In reality, we are at most going to have another situation like the Cuban Missile Crisis.

But lets play along and assume a worst case scenario. In which case, you would actually be far better off being where the nukes go off as opposed to outside of the blast range.

Radiation poisoning from fallout is a very painful way to go. Being vaporized is instantaneous. You wouldn’t even know what hit you, because it would all be over with in less time than it takes for you to blink.

I forgot to mention that I am not doing anything to prepare myself except to keep trying to be the best that I can be and pray.

Agreed with what @dr_darko:disqus said about not being able to really prepare.

  16. Weary Traveler

So recent headline in The Atlantic calls for “Pandemic Amnesty” which means getting the politicians and all the Karens off the hook for their bad behavior.

I can sum up my response to their request in two words, and I can sum up those with just one finger.

Even this Mea Culpa is a form of gaslighting on many levels. For one pretending they didn’t know, when they knew perfectly well. Otherwise, they would not have censored and cancelled anyone for questioning the narrative, and would have at least explored alternate treatments. This was not good intentions gone awry.

Second, they are still trying to pass blame on those of us who spoke out, and stood our ground. Like “we all said and did things we shouldn’t”. Nope. Even if I said or did mean things to the Corna Karens, it was only in response to their bad behavior. So no, I accept no responsibility for calling people Nazis. Apology or no, I still stand behind those statements because they were, and still are trues as they acted just like Nazis.

They just don’t want to be yelled at, and punished like they did to us when they abused us. They simply can’t take what they so easily can dish out.

So, no, I am not interested in amnesty as I am retribution.

Step 1.) Military tribunals. And when found guilty…

Step 2.) Reparations. And I am not just talking about a few thousand dollars each. The extent of the damage that was done goes way beyond even six figures per every man, woman, and child. Because we are not only talking about financial loss, but also emotional damage on many levels from various factors. I would argue that at a minimum, the reparations should be an eight figure amount for every man woman and child.

Step 3.) Retribution. They need to be stripped of all their rights, and forced to have some modern equivalent of a “scarlet letter” that shuts them completely out of society. We should be allowed to beat them with impunity, and if they even think of defending themselves, throw the book at them. See how they like it. Isn’t that pretty much what they did to us with BLM and Antifa as they kept bailing them out of jail? And, as they tried to railroad Kyle Rittenhouse for defending himself?

Step 4.) Punishment. Yes, this is where the official punishment would take place as if the previous was not enough. If there is anything left of them after the previous step that is. This is where they are given final sentence and executed, but we all get to vote on the forms of execution that they will suffer. If lucky, they will get the firing squad. If really unlucky, because enough of us are still angry enough, they could get something really slow and painful like crucifixion.

Brutal? Yes. Barbaric? Absolutely. But, fully justified because their actions were that bad, and in order to make fully sure that something like this never happens again, the punishment must fit the crime. And since they were bent on making examples of those of us who defended our own civil rights to strike fear in others who may do so, they should be made examples of for the same reasons.

    1. Proud Conservative Mom

      Agreed this is just posturing.
They’re trying to save their skins before a potential shellacking next week.

They acted with tremendous malice aforethought and tortured We the People in a very malicious and capricous manner.

      1. Absolutely.
      Shoot them when found guilty.

      2. YES! Out of their own funds.

      4. HEAR, HEAR!! 👏👏👏🏆🏆🏆

      1. Weary Traveler

They have worse than just a shellacking in two weeks. That would only be the beginning of their problems. Especially after the new congress takes power. Most of the new incoming members are not just typical republicans, but MAGAlicans.

          1. Weary Traveler

Far more Trump endorsed candidates won their primaries than establishment RINOs. So yeah, they got a lot to worry about.

          2. Sapper 9

The Bidet regime is putting together stacks of Executive orders to get around the inevitable Republican led congress ; if the RINOs allow a lame duck spending bill to go through before January, they will be surrendering all leverage.

          3. Sapper 9

There is a way to take it back, but it will take 60 votes in the Senate, unless they destroy the filibuster, which is a bad idea.

          4. Weary Traveler

It only takes a single committee to withhold funds. Amazing how mch damage that can do, and how much corporation that can get you.

            Money really does talk.

          5. Felix

Republicans or RINOs? One is rare, the other is a majority of surrender monkeys doing the bidding of their masters.

Whoa. I hope that Paul Watson was joking about Established Titles: https://establishedtitles.com. I’m actually disappointed he even mentioned these guys. Don’t waste your money on this scam.

There is ONE broker who actually deals with existing baronial titles: https://baronytitles.com/titles-for-sale/. Not only is the minimum price for a barony title 95,000 British pounds, but there are the added legal costs of registering the title with Lord Lyon to apply for arms. Personally, if being a Scottish baron were on my bucket list, the cost of this title would be better spent elsewhere…..like buying a used Mercedes Benz SL65!

      1. Weary Traveler

Personally, I could care less about titles like that. Part of our history was kicking out landlords.

I don’t know why people would do this. Seems an expensive novelty to me.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on course for victory in Tuesday’s elections, according to exit polls.

The polls, which forecast the outcome before official results, give his right-wing bloc a slim majority of seats over his opponents.

Such a result would mark a dramatic comeback for Mr Netanyahu, toppled last year after 12 straight years in power.

“We are close to a big victory,” he told his supporters in Jerusalem.

The election was widely seen as a vote for or against Mr Netanyahu’s return.

Official results, which could still produce a different outcome, are expected in the coming hours.

His main rival, current Prime Minister Yair Lapid, said “nothing” was yet decided.

But as the polls were announced at 22:00 (20:00 GMT), upbeat music burst from loud speakers at the central venue of Mr Netanyahu’s Likud party in Jerusalem.

    https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/a032f449ccfc6d94ee16bf5ddd3b71cadc732c994a71800dde6970eef7010682.png

Mr Netanyahu, 73, is one of Israel’s most controversial political figures, loathed by many on the centre and left but adored by Likud’s grassroots supporters.

He is a firm supporter of Israel’s settlement-building project in the West Bank, occupied since the 1967 Middle East war. Settlements there are considered illegal under international law, though Israel disputes this.

He opposes the creation of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip as a solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict – a formula supported by most of the international community, including the Biden administration in the US.

Mr Netanyahu is also currently on trial for alleged bribery, fraud and breach of trust – charges he fiercely denies. His possible partners in a Likud-led coalition government have said they would reform the law, in a move which would bring a halt to his trial.

Israel TV exit polls suggest Mr Netanyahu’s bloc will command 61 or 62 seats in the 120-seat knesset (parliament).

“It looks like we can be optimistic and have some hope we are about to get a stable coalition with Bibi [Mr Netanyahu] as the prime minister,” said 34-year-old Likud supporter David Adler, from Jerusalem.

“But as it’s been in the past three years, nothing is sure until the coalition is set up,” he cautioned.

According to the polls, Likud stands to be the biggest party, with 30-31 seats, commanding a majority with the support of nationalist and religious parties.

The centre-left party of incumbent Prime Minister Yair Lapid, who brought down Mr Netanyahu in elections last year, is forecast to win 22-24 seats.

Likud’s ultra-nationalist ally Religious Zionism appears to have won 14 seats, which would make it the third largest party. Its leaders have gained notoriety for using anti-Arab rhetoric and advocating the deportation of “disloyal” politicians or civilians.

“It will be better now,” said Religious Zionism supporter, Julian, at the party’s venue in Jerusalem. “When [Religious Zionism politician Itamar Ben-Gvir] will be minister of public security, it will be even better – he’ll bring back security to the people of Israel. That’s very important.”

However, political scientist Gayil Talshir, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, warned that if the exit polls “reflect the real results, Israel is on its way to become Orban’s Hungary”, recently branded an “electoral autocracy” by the EU.

If the polls are confirmed, it will stave off the prospect of a sixth election in just four years after analysts predicted deadlock.

It would mark a remarkable turnaround for Mr Netanyahu, whose political future was widely written off after Mr Lapid formed an unlikely alliance of ideologically diverse parties to take power in June 2021.

At the time, Mr Netanyahu vowed to bring it down as quickly as possible. He engineered its collapse after just 12 months.

The vote count is progressing at the Central Elections Committee, with 62 percent of the total ballots cast now tallied.

The committee has so far counted 3,020,710 votes.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-religious bloc continues to lead, and based on the current count would pick up 69 seats, though this number will change as more ballots are processed.

Exit polls have predicted 62 seats for Netanyahu’s bloc, enough to secure a majority and form a coalition in the 120-seat Knesset.

The left-wing Meretz party is currently on the edge of the 3.25% vote minimum needed to win Knesset representation, with 3.17%, although some pollsters have predicted the party will pass and win around four-five seats in the final tally.

The Islamist Ra’am party, projected to win four seats in exit polls, is also under the electoral threshold at 2.47%, according to the current count.

The opposition Arab Balad party is also just under the threshold with 2.75% of total votes.

If Ra’am, Balad, or Meretz fail to win Knesset representation it will further boost Netanyahu’s prospects for forming a coalition.

The ongoing count is not representative of the overall vote since ballots come in from different areas of the country at different times, and the percentages allotted to each party will likely shift as the tally continues.

Interesting how they use Home Owners Associations as an example of a “selfish collective.” Personally, I think HOAs should be outlawed. I remember Mark Levin once complaining about his HOA and using them as an example of everything that is wrong with government, and why people tend to hate government.

The only point I disagreed with in the article was…

I have no doubt that a great many people, motivated by compassion and by civic duty, genuinely strove to serve the greater good through following these measures.

Much like with those who sit on HOA boards, they were/are only motivated by their desire to boss others around. The only thing “genuine”about them, is that they are ALL *genuinely* a-holes. I have had more than enough experiences with these people to know.

    Kanye’s Anti-Semitism Remarks Warrant Debate

    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/10/kanyes_antisemitism_remarks_warrant_debate.html

I am all for a good debate, but to me, this is very cut and dry. Somewhat apropos to the Brownstone Institute article I posted below, this highlights the evils of collectivist thinking. Racism is a form of collectivism. Antisemitism is likewise a form of collectivism. Just one of its many outfits.

This comment under the article summarizes most of my own thoughts and feelings on the matter.

West has a right to his opinion whether he is irresponsible or not. Clearly he is grossly ignorant of American Jewish history. That he perceives Jewish people as he does is more of a reflection on HIS shortcomings than those of Jewish people. Getting beaten out of high-dollar business deals because of his own shortcomings would be no different than if he had tangled with the likes of a J.P. Morgan, Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, Whitney, or any of the other thousands of powerful GENTILES that have ruled the world of business and finance for hundreds of years.

The vast majority of employees in all the media in the US would identify as Gentiles. The Jewish vote, by itself, does not keep the Fascist/Marxist Democrat Party afloat. The Gentile vote does. People need to deal with the facts. Sadly generations of Americans have been programed/ taught “what to think” rather than “how to think” by the Fascist and Marxist Academia. They do not know what they do not know.

I would like to further add… In one of my recent conversations with Marty, where we were actually discussing this very topic, specially, Kanye’s remarks, Marty brought up an example of one of his college professors who made a statement that the “Old West” was sexist because the men had a misogynistic attitude towards women. Marty mentioned that he called out the professor for her blanket statement, and told that, even if the mores of that time and region were sexist and it was considered the norm, and therefore, a vast majority of the men were misogynistic, it is negating the men who were not, and even those men who spoke out against it, and likely at great cost to themselves.

To paint them with the same broad brush, is to dismiss their good deeds, and slap them in the face.

The simple fact is that there are bad actors in every group, and those individuals are the ones need to be called out and held to account. Not the entire group. Why punish those who are not guilty? This is why Ayn Rand said the smallest minority is the individual.

    1. John Gillis

This reminds me of an Iranian professor I had back in my undergrad days. He was ignorant enough to say, “the South US is firmly Republican and always has been, therefore it is racist today”. I, being a Yankee who lived in the South, called him out for this grossly misinformed comment. I informed him in 1980, Louisiana elected its FIRST Republican governor in 113 years, which was just after the end of Reconstruction. He had no idea that Reconstruction was a period of time that in former Confederate states, Democrats were legally barred from administration. And guess what? He didn’t believe it. He continued to say, “In the South, Democrats might as well be evil Republicans, where in the North, Republicans aren’t quite as evil”.

I actually wrote my final term paper on the topic and when I turned it in with SEVERAL WORKS CITED, I think he was floored. I was the only “A” in his class when grades were posted. I didn’t even expect to pass his class, because in the paper, I slammed him for his gross ignorance and told him instead of pontificating he should actually take a tour of the South and learn what he is talking about. And I got an “A” from an extremely liberal professor 🙂

        1. John Gillis

I was too, Rivka! Of course, this was back in ’90. I think liberal professors today are far more vindictive. But back then, colleges were more dedicated to producing critical thinking than they are today. Today, it is the ability to process what you are spoon-fed rather than analyzing it that teachers are concerned with.

          1. Weary Traveler

One big difference between then and now, was that although the myth of mass education was being promulgated, it had not yet taken its full effect as it has now.

      1. Sapper 9

I had a liberal English Professor, however, he was a real liberal , not the new PROGRESSIVE type; we had many spirited and professional debates and when I joined the Army we kept in touch and remained friends until his death a few years ago.

        RIP Professor Lindsey.

      2. Weary Traveler

It never ceases to amaze me how so many “educated” folk are actually so ignorant.

When the university system was first established, centuries ago, it was for the purpose of teaching critical thinking. Even St. Thomas Aquinas, who was a part of the early university system, would familiarize his students with the works of prominent Atheists of the time, and actually having nuanced discussions about the philosophy.

Now at best, universities are diploma mills if you go in to STEM, and at worst, indoctrination camps.

A tablespoon of it with your cereal in the morning and a tablespoon of it in the evening with a protein shake or kale smoothie. Your liver will process the vitamins more efficiently and it will reduce inflammation.

The weirdest part this was the hair on my head grew in thicker. I wasn’t balding but I noticed the “part” in my hair was a lot less obvious and closer to the scalp, my hair was fuller and “fluffy”. I felt the initial strengthening after the first month.

Could be that the terrorist regime occupying Iran is going to fall?
Iran: Panicking regime officials seek UK passports as families flee on flights from Tehran
    NOV 1, 2022 12:00 PM BY CHRISTINE DOUGLASS-WILLIAMS6 COMMENTS
The brave dissidents of Iran are reminding the world how much a government needs the support of its people, even under a fascist regime. It’s beginning to look increasingly hopeful for the protestors as panic spreads among members of the Iranian regime, many of whom are now seeking British passports as their families flee on flights from Tehran. They’re also seeking Swiss and Canadian passports.

Under no circumstances should any of these countries be facilitating or harboring these jihad terrorists and their families. A member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also reported that “there are ‘a lot’ of servicemen either deserting the regime or actively helping protesters.” He also encouraged the protestors in a declaration that now is the “’best time’ to challenge Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s regime.” This IRGC member may be right. The alternative, should the regime end up winning this round, could be catastrophic, as the regime will become even harsher.

“Panicking Iranian regime ‘seeking UK passports’ for families as officials flee Tehran,” by Richard Ashmore, Express, October 31, 2022:

Iranian officials are seeking “British passports” for their families as they charter “five flights a day” fleeing the pariah state, Express.co.uk has been told. Traditionally 40 days is a mourning milestone in Iranian culture and scores of civilians massed in cities across Iran on Wednesday. The Iranian regime has in the past brutally put down any dissent but the latest ongoing unrest has shown no sign of abating. Express.co.uk has learned sections of the main airport in Tehran have been taken over by regime forces as a fast-track area for their own family and friends to escape the country.

Speaking to Express.co.uk an Iranian source – who cannot be named for security reasons – said things at the airport were moving fast. He said: “It started around two weeks ago. The regime changed all security detail at the airport. “They were moving civilians (friends and family) from the back entrance of the airport directly to the aeroplanes for international flights, at least five flights a day. “They would move the regular staff away whenever this was happening and also confiscate their phones. They also replaced the regular staff who are handling the commercially important people (VIP) section of the airport with their own staff. “It is hard to verify because they are taking away people’s phones, but based on what I have seen before it wouldn’t be completely crazy if the regime was doing this.

“They will be looking for Canadian, Swiss and UK passports.”…

    2. george linker

The un is not a good organization. They have no legitimacy. They are a fake government set up by the progressives to rule the world. They then used the germans to force nations to join.

    3. Weary Traveler

      The UN is evil.

This reminds me of how Pat Condell once summed up the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. “If Palestine were to lay down their arms, there would be peace. If Israel were to lay down their arms, there would be genocide.”

The evil left has always used moralism to gaslight. Even back during the cold were, there were leftist “intellectuals” arguing that if the US would dismantle its nuclear arsenal, that it would be a sign of “moral strength.” I remember even back then, hearing that argument, and wondering what was wrong with those people, and immediately figuring out that they were not on our side.

        1. Weary Traveler

I think Condell was referring to how we identify those particular people. Of course, there is no such thing as Palestine. Hence, why our HP often referred to them as “Fakestinians.”

          1. Weary Traveler

I prefer for night to fall somewhere around 6pm. But if I am forced to choose between one extreme or the other, when night doesn’t fall until 9 or 9:30pm my sleep is really messed up because I need a minim of 4 hours of dark for my body to wind down, and blackout curtains can’t fool the body, it just knows. At least if we got rid of daylight savings, it would get dark between 8 and 8:30pm at the latest, which is better than 9 to 9:30pm.

Plus, I never am able to recover from the time shift anyway. Most seem to readjust after a few days, maybe a week. Not me. And since they have been dragging it out longer and longer, I suffer for most of the year. Usually up to 8 months, as if nature wasn’t doing enough to me without DST adding to it.

Then I get the tards that say, “just go to bed an hour earlier.” Uh, yeah, not so easy. For one I don’t have Asperger’s, like half the population does, apparently, and actually have a lot on my mind, unlike the rest of the non-thinking losers out there.

One of the guys on YouTube I sometimes watch, I posted a couple of his videos here before — did a poll on his channel with his subscribers, asking which was their favorite season. I was amazed to see that Autumn won hands down, with Spring in a distant second, and the least amount of love was for both Winter and Summer. Winter only beat Summer by a tiny margin.

The comments were interesting. The summer lovers had mixed reactions. Some said the hotter the better, but most of them didn’t like extreme heat, and an even larger number said they really disliked high humidity. But the summer people seemed to prefer low to mid 80s for the most part.

          8. Weary Traveler

It’s pretty watching things bloom. But, at the same time, if up to me, it would jump from mid Spring straight in to mid Fall.

          9. Weary Traveler

For the most part in my neck of the woods is fairly temperate. Especially if you are near the coast or the right sections of the bay shore. The only exception is September, where there tend to me more offshore winds, and the sun directly aligns with our latitude, and warms the ocean by about 10º, making us more like So-Cal in the summer.

Usually it only lasts a few weeks. But if you hate heat, and your body responds poorly to it, just a few days of it can feel like an eternity.

But for the most part, our winters are warmer than most places, but not like Florida where it would, at most drop to the more mild side, but our summers tend to be, for the most part, more mild to cool = upper 60s to low 70s. Now that is averaging, and taking our “micro-climates” in to account. Literally, temps can vary by as much as 30º by as little as a 30 minute drive from one place to the other.

          10. Proud Conservative Mom

NJ is a very small state.
The temperature doesn’t vary that much.
What really matters, is the direction that the wind blows.
            That effects the snowfall accumulation.
In NYS, the temps can vary from forty to fifty degrees in some areas.

          11. Weary Traveler

What is crazy about where I live, is that I am not even talking statewide. I am talking stritly about the 9 county Bay Area region. Even to a large extent, the immediate Bay region discounting the inland valleys. It could be say in June or July, 69 where I am, and less than 10 miles south in Hayward, 85.

          12. Weary Traveler

I always remember the Sunday visits my brother and I had with my dad. Usually he came over the hill from Santa Cruz to visit us, but there were times my bother and I went to Santa Cruz.

It was funny the temperature difference from one side of the SC mountains over the other. If you look at the geography of the area on a map, it makes sense. I just remember it would be really nice in Santa Cruz, and at times, may even need a lightweight jacket when walking on the beach.

Then we would go home, and as soon as we were on the other side of Summit, and down in to Los Gatos and the San Jose area, it was like we were in LA. We went from cool and breezy to hot, still and oppressive in roughly 20 minutes.

          13. Weary Traveler

For you, it sounds like, the closer to the equator, the better?

For me, I would almost say, the closer to the Arctic Circle, the better, but one major monkey wrench in that for me would be the summer where it is still light out in the middle of the night.

I don’t think that there are any perfect places on this Earth for me anywhere.

          14. Proud Conservative Mom

            That’s absolutely miserable.
I feel so very sorry that you suffer like that.

It’s not up to me, but I will continue to sign the Petitions.
Making DST permanent Heaven forbid, is a disaster for those who have to attend shul in the morning before work.

          15. Weary Traveler

Who knows… With how it affects the Orthodox Jews, you could do what the left left does, and say how supporting permanent DST makes them automatic allies of Kanye West. LOL

          16. Weary Traveler

I have been told I would be good at either that, or that I would have made a good Lawyer. But more often then not, it was someone’s polite way of telling me that I was a royal pain in the riods. LOL

          17. Weary Traveler

I was too good at arguing, even as a kid. Plus I always had a strong will on top of it. Which drove the adults in my life mad at times. Marty was the same way, so no wonder he and I get along so well. LOL

          18. Weary Traveler

I’m sure if we knew each other as kids, they probably would have filed some kind of restraining order to keep the two us from ever teaming up. LOL

    True…..

Dr. Phil: ‘Hell No’ You Wouldn’t Get on a Plane If John Fetterman Was the Pilot

    1. Weary Traveler

I wouldn’t trust Fetterman to even water my plants. The Terminator would do far less damage. LOL

          1. Weary Traveler

And to think. Until he started talking all that antisemitic trash, I was starting to feel bad that I laughed so hard when South Park lampooned him and called him a “gay fish.”

I know you wont get that reference, and I wont go in to specifics because I don’t want to put something in your head I know you wont want in there, but… The long and short of that was how he was so egotistical and takes himself so seriously, that he couldn’t take a lame joke. LOL

          1. Proud Conservative Mom

            EXACTLY.
I have a few other choice adjectives and nouns in my mind, but I won’t go there.
It’s a pity that I cannot bleach my brain from the very classy lingo that I very tragically learned on the NYC subway system.

    1. Proud Conservative Mom

That’s why I refuse to read any links to Guardian articles unless Tony says it surprisingly supports the side of sanity and reason.
(Every once in a Yovel (Jubilee) year, they can have an off day.)

    2. Weary Traveler

If a dirty yellow rag like The Guardian is having an emotional meltdown over something, that you know it is something good that we should be celebrating.

    3. george linker

Oh look the fear tactics have began. The brainwashing of the public for the purpose of creating hate.

    1. Tony

These jihadists are like the Russian soldiers in Ukraine – they just don’t know how to look after themselves.

      1. Proud Conservative Mom

I have always been very skeptical about their leaders really believing in that rubbish.
If they did (because apparently that’s what is important to them), wouldn’t they be the first in line to blow themselves up?

Rishi Sunak junks Liz Truss’s plan to move British embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem after ex-PM ordered review
as she mulled copying Donald Trump

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11386189/Rishi-Sunak-junks-Liz-Trusss-plan-British-embassy-Israel-Tel-Aviv-Jerusalem.html#comments

The reporting is hardly unbiased and the commenters are mostly pro-Palestinian. The word “Muslim” is blocked from comments (which is normal).
Nobody expected Truss’s “plan” to come to fruition – it was just a bit more hot air from her. Sunak is just following the party line.

    1. Weary Traveler

One really has to wonder if there is any truth to this. I know this is what they keep telling us, but they know, better than we do, in spite of all of their public statements, that a.) natural immunity works, and COVID is very benign for the vast majority of the population. And b.) just how bad those Franken-Jabs really are.

So how can really believe that these people really, a.) Have actually taken the jabs, and not, at most, Saline, if anything at all, and b.) have rally gotten COVID for the kabillionth time?

    1. george linker

Why is it that one party always claims only they can govern and always claim their selfs not being there as a disaster for all?

  29. bill smith

Britain’s new PM cancels plans to move embassy to Jerusalem
Prime Minister’s office confirms that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has abandoned his predecessor’s plans to move UK embassy to Jerusalem.

      1. John Gillis

Same here. Multiculturalism is destroying the West as intended. The so-called “multiculturalists” are hell bent on Israel’s destruction.

    1. Tony

I mentioned that earlier. I don’t blame Rishi Sunak. His predecessors words were so much hot air. She promised everything to everybody just to get the job.
With an unstable political position not hust here but everywhere it is not a good tome to start stirring up contentious matters.

      1. bill smith

Politically, I think it would be better for him to go ahead with the plan….. In the future, if a labour regime happens, they would cancel or reverse it and thus making them the bad guys (for all those who after corby, don;t realize what they are already).

          1. Weary Traveler

Seems the Tories have been going out of their way to make sure a Labour regime happens.

And I thought our Republicans were self-sabotaging.

The FBI has received credible information of a broad threat to synagogues in NJ. We ask at this time that you take all security precautions to protect your community and facility. We will share more information as soon as we can. Stay alert. In case of emergency call police.

        1. Weary Traveler

I wouldn’t be surprised if at least half the antisemitic threats and assaults were actually being carried out by Feds themselves. I could absolutely see those faggoty frat boys doing something like that.

          1. Sapper 9

As it stands now, Lee Zeldin, who I am told is Jewish, stands a great chance to be the NY governor. Lol

    1. Sapper 9

I wonder if they really received credible information, or created it to push a narrative that conservatives are NAZIS , in an attempt to help the Democrats.

    1. george linker

The news said today we are in a civil war. If the democrats don’t get elected they are backing violent overthrow. Anything to try and scare people the nazi way.

    1. bill smith

So far so good. Not sure if it is the culprit, but the comments only went away twice, and both times over 1000 comments.

          1. Weary Traveler

She is the strongest argument for why spanking your kids when they misbehave is a good thing. If only she got a few smacks upside the head.

    1. Weary Traveler

That dingus is another puppet like the donkey girl from some dive bar in The Bronx.

There is no way some fringe loony toon who with Asperger’s rises to such notoriety without big money and big interest behind them.

They way they figure it, I am sure, is that if we will listen to idiots, than all that is left is total submission.

        1. Weary Traveler

The gaslighting is just unbelievable, and intolerable. They did this with the donkey girl too. I am supposed to believe that some nobody with an internet connection suddenly rises to stardom, and then is addressing the UN?

Just like I am expected to believe that some bug eyed, horse mouthed, bar back became a political celebrity overnight, and got in to congress?

Just like they expect me to believe that Antifa is “organic”, like a bunch of stupid pot smoking basement brats, on a strict diet of Doritos’s and Hot Pockets just decided to band together to “defeat fascism?”

I am not supposed to see how all of this has been orchestrated? Oh, and on top of all of that, I am expected to take them seriously, and think they speak with some kind of authority just because of an invented “celebrity” status?

          1. Proud Conservative Mom

You posted in a nutshell a few examples that is part of my culmination of why I am so infuriated.
They treat us like we’re freaking idiots.

It makes me want to use Sarah’s flame thrower to torch all of them.

          2. Weary Traveler

Somehow I think Sarita probably has more than just one. Knowing her, she probably amassed a nice little collection with custom paint jobs. LOL

          3. Weary Traveler

I’m wondering if that may have been the real reason her hubby wanted to talk to her about finances. Flamethrowers ain’t cheap. LOL

    2. Sapper 9

The NAZIS loved to use blonde haired and pigtailed girls for their propaganda, so it isn’t surprising that the new NAZIS are doing the same.

        1. Sapper 9

Please excuse the image, I am posting it to make my point and will delete quickly.

          That could be greta.

          1. Proud Conservative Mom

            Don’t apologize.
Trust me, that the pictures that I have seen from that time, still give me nightmares.
I’m referring to the pictures of my people who were brutally murdered in the Holocaust.

          2. Weary Traveler

Not at all. Anyone who knows history can, at the very least see that was one of the many Gretas of the 1930s and 40s.

      1. Weary Traveler

Way to betray their own woke principals. Couldn’t they have been consistent and found some black tans kid? LOL

In light of the FBI’s warning this afternoon, Jersey City, Mayor Steven Fulop said police would be posted at the city’s seven synagogues and foot patrols would be added in the broader Jewish community. In 2019, two assailants motivated by anti-Jewish hate killed three people in a kosher market in Jersey City, along with a police officer.

Except none of the BDS supporters look that good. At best, at least the ones I encountered, look like they partied a bit too much and too hard in their youth. One look at them and the words “damaged goods” immediately spring to mind.

    1. Weary Traveler

Good night to you. Great hearing from you as always.

And don’t forget to bring earplugs when you are using the NYC Subways. LOL

      1. Proud Conservative Mom

        Very much likewise!
        Truly.
It’s always awesome to close out the day with a huge smile.
        TYVM for everything.
        😄😄😄👍👍👍

        GREAT IDEA.
These days, I wouldn’t use the subway.
        It’s a jungle.
