            Too much inbreeding?

Some of the craziest and corrupt Senators come from really small states; the left is now trying to flood the red small population states with illegals in an attempt to flip them blue.

            WEAPONIZED IMMIGRATION.

          2. Weary Traveler

I used to live in a small town years ago.

It wasn’t the worst experience I ever had. But, I don’t think I would care to ever repeat it. There is a lot of downside to living in Small Town America.

But I was able to see how it is as corrupt as any major blue city. Very, very cliquish.

The only thing I can say about Small Town America with regards to illegals is, especially in certain places, they better keep their heads down and behave, because the good old boys will definitely teach them some manners. LOL

So the illegals going to red states will certainly be sticking to the cities.

          3. Sapper 9

Technically, I live outside of a small town, but it is really a suburb of a 250,000 population town; we have gotten A LOT of illegals over the last few years.

There is a town of around 12,000 near us that has 51 FIFTY-ONE spoken in their school district, which means they have a minimum of 51 translators to pay.

The illegals are everywhere, large and small alike.

          4. Chief Mac

Where I live in a town of about 1,000 people and the nearest city has 7,500 people. We are too poor to attract any illegal invaders

          5. Sapper 9

I live outside of Republic Missouri , a town with a population of around 19,000, but it has a big AMAZON distribution center and Springfield Mo is around five miles away.

Due to recent demographic shifts, Springfield is in the top ten of cities for violent crimes PER CAPITA, with multiple Universities and colleges, there is a leftist leaning .

I have noticed that vegans feel sorry for animals but not plants and bugs. They pick and chose to fit their beliefs.

I don’t even care that they have their beleifs until they try to impose their beliefs on others as is now happening with claims in climate change.

This phenomenal article gives tremendous insight regarding the phenomena of the Jewish People.

The lessons are timeless and beautiful.

    Turning Curses into Blessings
    שמות

    SHEMOT

By Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks ZTL

Genesis ends on an almost serene note. Jacob has found his long lost son. The family has been reunited. Joseph has forgiven his brothers. Under his protection and influence the family has settled in Goshen, one of the most prosperous regions of Egypt. They now have homes, property, food, the protection of Joseph and the favour of Pharaoh. It must have seemed one of the golden moments of Abraham’s family’s history.

Then, as has happened so often since, “There arose a new Pharaoh who did not know Joseph.” There was a political climate change. The family fell out of favour. Pharaoh told his advisers: “Look, the Israelite people are becoming too numerous and strong for us”[1] – the first time the word “people” is used in the Torah with reference to the children of Israel. “Let us deal shrewdly with them, so that they may not increase.” And so the whole mechanism of oppression moves into operation: forced labour that turns into slavery that becomes attempted genocide.

The story is engraved in our memory. We tell it every year, and in summary-form in our prayers, every day. It is part of what it is to be a Jew. Yet there is one phrase that shines out from the narrative: “But the more they were oppressed, the more they increased and the more they spread.” That, no less than oppression itself, is part of what it means to be a Jew.

The worse things get, the stronger we become. Jews are the people who not only survive but thrive in adversity.

Jewish history is not merely a story of Jews enduring catastrophes that might have spelled the end to less tenacious groups. It is that after every disaster, Jews renewed themselves. They discovered some hitherto hidden reservoir of spirit that fuelled new forms of collective self-expression as the carriers of God’s message to the world.

Every tragedy begat new creativity. After the division of the kingdom following the death of Solomon came the great literary prophets, Amos and Hosea, Isaiah and Jeremiah. Out of the destruction of the First Temple and the Babylonian exile came the renewal of Torah in the life of the nation, beginning with Ezekiel and culminating in the vast educational programme brought back to Israel by Ezra and Nehemiah. From the destruction of the Second Temple came the immense literature of rabbinic Judaism, until then preserved mostly in the form of an oral tradition: Mishnah, Midrash and Gemara.

From the Crusades came the Hassidei Ashkenaz, the North European school of piety and spirituality. Following the Spanish expulsion came the mystic circle of Tzefat: Lurianic Kabbalah and all it inspired by way of poetry and prayer. From East European persecution and poverty came the Hassidic movement and its revival of grass-roots Judaism through a seemingly endless flow of story and song. And from the worst tragedy of all in human terms, the Holocaust, came the rebirth of the state of Israel, the greatest collective Jewish affirmation of life in more than two thousand years.

It is well known that the Chinese ideogram for “crisis” also means “opportunity”. Any civilisation that can see the blessing within the curse, the fragment of light within the heart of darkness, has within it the capacity to endure. Hebrew goes one better. The word for crisis, mashber, also means “a child-birth chair.” Written into the semantics of Jewish consciousness is the idea that the pain of hard times is a collective form of the contractions of a woman giving birth. Something new is being born. That is the mindset of a people of whom it can be said that “the more they were oppressed, the more they increased and the more they spread.”

Where did it come from, this Jewish ability to turn weakness into strength, adversity into advantage, darkness into light? It goes back to the moment in which our people received its name, Israel. It was then, as Jacob wrestled alone at night with an angel, that as dawn broke his adversary begged him to let him go. “I will not let you go until you bless me”, said Jacob. (Bereishit 32:27) That is the source of our peculiar, distinctive obstinacy. We may have fought all night. We may be tired and on the brink of exhaustion. We may find ourselves limping, as did Jacob. Yet we will not let our adversary go until we have extracted a blessing from the encounter. This turned out to be not a minor and temporary concession. It became the basis of his new name and our identity. Israel, the people who “wrestled with God and man and prevailed”, is the nation that grows stronger with each conflict and catastrophe.

I was reminded of this unusual national characteristic by an article that appeared in the British press in October 2015. Israel at the time was suffering from a wave of terrorist attacks that saw Palestinians murdering innocent civilians in streets and bus stations throughout the country. It began with these words: “Israel is an astonishing country, buzzing with energy and confidence, a magnet for talent and investment – a cauldron of innovation.” It spoke of its world-class excellence in aerospace, clean-tech, irrigation systems, software, cyber-security, pharmaceuticals and defence systems. [2]

“All this”, the writer went on to say, “derives from brainpower, for Israel has no natural resources and is surrounded by hostile neighbours.” The country is living proof of “the power of technical education, immigration and the benefits of the right sort of military service.” Yet this cannot be all, since Jews have consistently overachieved, wherever they were and whenever they were given the chance. He goes through the various suggested explanations: the strength of Jewish families, their passion for education, a desire for self-employment, risk-taking as a way of life, and even ancient history. The Levant was home to the world’s first agricultural societies and earliest traders. Perhaps, then, the disposition to enterprise was written, thousands of years ago, into Jewish DNA. Ultimately, though, he concludes that it has to do with “culture and communities”.

A key element of that culture has to do with the Jewish response to crisis. To every adverse circumstance, those who have inherited Jacob’s sensibilities insist: “I will not let you go until you bless me.” (Bereishit 32:27) That is how Jews, encountering the Negev, found ways of making the desert bloom. Seeing a barren, neglected landscape elsewhere, they planted trees and forests. Faced with hostile armies on all their borders, they developed military technologies they then turned to peaceful use. War and terror forced them to develop medical expertise and world-leading skills in dealing with the aftermath of trauma. They found ways of turning every curse into a blessing. The historian Paul Johnson, as always, put it eloquently:

Over 4,000 years the Jews proved themselves not only great survivors but extraordinarily skilful in adapting to the societies among which fate had thrust them, and in gathering whatever human comforts they had to offer. No people has been more fertile in enriching poverty or humanising wealth, or in turning misfortune to creative account.[3]

There is something profoundly spiritual as well as robustly practical about this ability to transform the bad moments of life into a spur to creativity. It is as if, deep within us were a voice saying, “You are in this situation, bad though it is, because there is a task to perform, a skill to acquire, a strength to develop, a lesson to learn, an evil to redeem, a shard of light to be rescued, a blessing to be uncovered, for I have chosen you to give testimony to humankind that out of suffering can come great blessings if you wrestle with it for long enough and with unshakeable faith.”

In an age in which people of violence are committing acts of brutality in the name of the God of compassion, the people of Israel are proving daily that this is not the way of the God of Abraham, the God of life and the sanctity of life. And whenever we who are a part of that people lose heart, and wonder when it will ever end, we should recall the words: “The more they were oppressed, the more they increased and the more they spread.” A people of whom that can be said can be injured, but can never be defeated. God’s way is the way of life.

[1] Ex. 1:9. This is the first intimation in history of what in modern times took the form of the Russian forgery, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. In the Diaspora, Jews – powerless – were often seen as all-powerful. What this usually means, when translated, is: How is it that Jews manage to evade the pariah status we have assigned to them?

““Let us deal shrewdly with them, so that they may not increase.” And so the whole mechanism of oppression moves into operation: forced labour that turns into slavery that becomes attempted genocide.”

Funny how the pharaohs sound exactly like Klaus Schwab, and the rest of the globalist scum. It’s not enough they want us to die, but to slowly die a death of a thousand cuts. One of them is making sure our lives are as lonely and as fruitless as possible.

“It is well known that the Chinese ideogram for “crisis” also means “opportunity”.

To extrapolate further, crisis is also defined as a “dangerous opportunity.”

“In an age in which people of violence are committing acts of brutality in the name of the God of compassion“.

Gee… I wonder who THIS might have been a reference too? Hmmm?

      LOL

Seriously, it perfectly surmises the evil behind the notion of “for the greater good” and collective sacrifice.

I KNEW that you would appreciate this article.

        I LOVE IT.

It was a real hit on my sister’s chat.

As King Solomon wrote in Koheles (Ecclesiastes), 1:9 “…and there is nothing at all new under the sun!”

FYI, Hashem created Jew with a stubborn streak (we’re a “stiff knecked people”). It’s not always a compliment from Hashem (when we’re doing the wrong things).

Every trait can be used for good or evil. Hashem gave us the stubbornness, tenacity, and wisdom that we needed to survive. How else could we have otherwise held on?!

Part of the daily morning blessings is thanking Hashem for girding us with strength.

Of course, we have a guarantee from Hashem that we’ll be the eternal Chosen People.
        That is tremendous.

We’ll not only outlive our oppressors, but we’ll get to see Hashem mete out His retribution in the most magnificent manner imaginable.

(I’ll be cheering on the sidelines.)

        1. Weary Traveler

“Hashem gave us the stubbornness, tenacity, and wisdom that we needed to survive.”

Since I am not Jewish, what’s my excuse? LOL.

It is definitely a survival mechanism for sure. I think this is probably why I enjoyed watching Pump Up The Volume so much the other night. My brother was right in some ways about me being like the character Slater played in that movie; Angsty, hard-headed, sarcastic, and even a bit obnoxious.

In a strange way, it’s those of us like myself, who are these “counter culture” types, that keep rocking the boat, which keeps evil at bay in spite of our less than holy demeanor and attributes.

          1. Proud Conservative Mom

Hashem gave you the tools that you need to survive your life.
            That’s my response.
            Judaism teaches that.

            Apologies for the delayed response.

I had a wonderful supper with my husband. 🥰🥰🥰
I don’t always know what time he is going to eat supper.
It depends on his work schedule.
When I am able to join him, I love doing so.

          2. Weary Traveler

It’s very important that you get to do that.

I think I am becoming more liquid diet oriented these days. Sometimes I only eat one meal per day. My appetite is usually so-so more often than not.

          3. Proud Conservative Mom

            I agree entirely.
            It’s like a date.

(Of course, going out is a whole different level. That being said, one can make it happen at home as well.)

            Are you getting enough vitamins?
Your body might be rebelling from malnourishment.

            Trust me.
            It’s very complex.

I am not the expert that @nicetomeetyou2:disqus is.
That being said, I do know the ramifications of not getting proper nourishment personally.

It will also cause nausea to come on.

FYI, it’s a federal law that hospitals cannot destroy your credit rating.

          4. Weary Traveler

Someone needs to tel that to my local hospital. I got in a big fight with them a few years back when I had a toothache that wouldn’t stop. I ended up needing a root canal. But I was charged over $1,000 for facility use when all they did was give me a Norco for the pain after making me wait for nearly 2 hours.

They threatened to make a “derogatory” remark on my credit report, after I told their collections department to shove it because I thought what they were charging me was obscene. A visit to a private practice only cost me one tenth that, to which I was given a pain killer, and prescribed an 800 Milligram Ibuprofen, and Amoxicillin.

          5. Weary Traveler

This was back in 2017, and I never heard form them again after I wrote their administrator a very nasty letter about their criminal billing practices. And I used the word “criminal” in my letter more than once.

          6. Proud Conservative Mom

IIRC, The Statute of Limitations is three years.

I’m so very grateful that you did that.
            GOOD. FOR. YOU.

When I fractured my ribs, my now 25 year old got an X-ray from the hospital closest to the Lincoln Tunnel (in Hoboken).

They billed $20,000.00 for the X-ray.
It was just a freaking X-ray.

I gave the collection agency Hell.
They left us alone for a few months and started up again.

A judge would laugh them out of Court and/or give them Hell.

I almost forgot about this until you mentioned your experience.

            This is criminal as well.
These people deserve to be incarcerated.

In all seriousness, it is obvious who wears the pants in that house, and it isn’t Harry. He “transitioned” the moment he hooked up with that harpy.

        1. Weary Traveler

Not bad. For some reason my body has been feeling a little stiff. I know I am not getting any younger, but I hate feeling like I am aging rapidly.

          1. Proud Conservative Mom

Have you ever seen a physical therapist?
It really makes a huge difference.

I’m cognizant that you are currently unemployed. 😔😔😔
Do you have health insurance whatsoever that would cover it?

          2. Weary Traveler

Zero. If I ever need any serious medical care, I am going to have to do the unthinkable and do myself in.

It may be an unforgivable sin, but far better than leaving anyone in my family the burden of helping me pay medical bills, not so much for my care, but so illegal immigrants can get it for free.

          3. Weary Traveler

I just hope that I am never in that position. God forbid.

It’s sad I live in a free country, but like those who don’t, I have to practice self-care because our medical system is so corrupt and evil.

I had a friend in college from Russia, and she always had an extra suitcase that was filled with medical supplies, because, as she told me, doctors can’t be trusted, and the system is pretty bad.

          4. Proud Conservative Mom

You’re far too valuable to lose.
You know how to reach me immediately.

I pray that you are never in the position to even begin to think that way.

I have a huge stash of emergency medications as well.
            My parents do too.
            They have a mini pharmacy.

The government became insane about regulating medications that shouldn’t be regulated.
WHY the HECK should Neurontin (Gabapentin) be regulated?!?!
            😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

            That’s but one example.

I once said if I identified as an illegal alien, I would receive all of the “freebies.”

          5. Weary Traveler

I told our local hospital the same thing, and they said there was noting that they could do about it. Oh really? I told them that sure there is, start obeying federal law.

Just look at what they did with HCQ and Ivermectin. Just to prolong their scamdemic and get rid of Trump, and even then…

So many hospital administrators belong in prison. More like, they belong standing in front of a firing squad.

I have heard too many horror stories of people who lost everything because of medical expenses. As if being sick wasn’t enough punishment. Meanwhile, the lawmakers who create this mess, get free gold plated healthcare that WE all pay for. And that’s even after just serving one measly term.

          6. Proud Conservative Mom

If you are worried about the government seizing your assets if you need medical care, you need to have a Trust made at some point and put your assets under someone else’s name who you trust.

Tell the hospital to take a flying leap.

The problem is that we are domiciled in a lawless society.

          7. Weary Traveler

Thankfully, I haven’t heard form them since my poison penned letter. LOL

We wouldn’t be domiciled in a lawless society if so many people weren’t such go along to get along cowards out there.

“Everybody knows that the dice are loaded.
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed.”

“Everybody knows that the dice are loaded.
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed.”

A very sad and true commentary on our times.

On a side bar, Jews don’t cross their fingers.
            (Wrong religion. 😉😃)

          9. Weary Traveler

There is a good reason the movie, Pump Up The Volume used that song, and featured it so predominately. Even as the lyrics clearly state; “everybody knows the deal is rotten”, but no one says anything, or worse does anything.

My dad once told me that he used to get angry at talk show hosts because all they did was talk, and where was their walk? But then he realized that their talk is their walk. Their only job is to analyze what is going on, give their opinion and information, and defend their ideas. It is we who have to decide what we do with that information.

That was the essence of the “I’m mad as Hell, and I’m not going to take anymore” speech in the movie, The Network.

All I know is to “talk hard” myself.

          10. Weary Traveler

Our founders probably wouldn’t see it that way. Their homes were being raided, and burned, and their family members killed by King George’s red coats.

So far, our war isn’t kinetic.

          11. Weary Traveler

They going about things in a more roundabout way now. Things have changed a lot since then. But some things haven’t.

And then the Mattress Hoping Relic later recanted, and said “it was just a campaign”, which is very telling, because she admits that she lies just to get votes.

            Indeed she did.
Mattress Hopping Relic makes me laugh out loud every time I think about it.

          3. Weary Traveler

I owe that one to Sophia of The Golden Girls, when she called Blanche that. I remember she also said to Blanche, “Can it, you 50 year old mattress.” LOL

          4. Proud Conservative Mom

            Sophia was my favorite character.

I didn’t see all of the episodes.
My maternal grandmother loved that show.
I saw them, if she was watching it.

I opine that Rose could dance circles around AOC.

          5. Weary Traveler

Next to ACO, Rose was NASA material.

Of course, Rose wasn’t malevolent like AOC.

Did you ever see the one where Rose was auditioning to become a news anchor? I will have to see if I can find a clip on YouTube. It was so funny, because she did a mock interview with Dorothy, and asked her about all the old folks homes brochures she had hidden in her dresser, and if she was planning to put Sophia away. LOL

          6. Proud Conservative Mom

            O.M.G. I didn’t. That sounds absolutely hilarious!

“Next to ACO, Rose was NASA material.”

Okay, that is seriously such a great line! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

“Of course, Rose wasn’t malevolent like AOC.”

            CORRECT.

          7. Weary Traveler

            Her pretend time. LOL

I was introduced to this show because my grandma watched it. Both my mom and dad were working on Saturday night, so I would stay at my Grandma’s.

          8. Proud Conservative Mom

            Yup.
            Her pretend time.
            GEVALT! LOL!

When I went to my grandparents for Shabbos, we sometimes slept over Saturday night.
That’s when I saw the shows.

My grandmother didn’t view much television at all.

I remember how she was blown away and very disgusted about how many people aired their “dirty laundry” on talk shows in front of millions of people.

          9. Weary Traveler

Most of the dirty laundry aired on those talk shows was all fake, and invented by producers to make it more “interesting.”

A good friend of mine used to work with a guy who was on one of those shows.

In all honesty, the problem they were originally supposed to be on to talk about may not have been any more than what people would call Dr. Laura about. But the producers would tell the guests what to say to make it more “interesting”, and in the shows like Jerry Springer, where the fights break out, were generally being egged on by the producers.

People who have been on “reality shows” have come out and said the same thing is done there as well. It’s all an act to make you think society is even more screwed up than it is, and to keep the bottom-feeders tuned in.

    Human Sacrifice, Then and Now

I always did look at those temples with disgust, knowing, which wasn’t mention here, that not only were tens of thousands of people sacrificed in these temples to their silly little tin gods, but that the skulls of children fill the insides of the bricks of these temples. That’s why that ‘civilization’ no longer exists.

The ruling is in response to petitions against Deri’s appointment to ministerial positions in the new government of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu due to his conviction for tax offenses last year. Deri, who is serving as the Interior and Health Ministers, said on Monday that he won’t resign even if the court disqualifies him.

However, it is destructive and unnecessary for me to know every single ugly detail.

I can do NOTHING about it sans to vote and most importantly to daven.
            Davening is beyond underrated.

If only more would appreciate what having a strong relationship with Hashem and talking to Him at a bare minimum once daily accomplishes.

            Moreover, realize this:
There is never a vacuum that exists in the mind.
If it’s not filled with the proper thoughts and ideas, one has to ask themselves what their mind is filled with.
It’s a question that everyone has to answer for themselves.

I love listening to lectures because I can still focus and cook supper, for example, simultaneously.)

I most definitely don’t expect everyone else to do so (herein).

I find out everything that I need to know.
The extent of the mental illness is unnecessary garbage that would be unnecessary and unwanted in my journey into who I am trying to become.

The US Embassy in Jerusalem asked the Israeli government to withdraw a plan to expand the Nof Zion neighborhood of Jerusalem, Channel 12 News reported.

The plan was removed from the agenda of the planning and construction committee in Jerusalem, to avoid embarrassing the US during the visit of National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan, who landed in Israel this evening (Wed), met with President Herzog and will meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu tomorrow.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid responded: “I congratulate Ministers Ben-Gvir and Smotrich for showing responsibility and removing the plan to expand the Jewish neighborhood in Nof Zion.”

Former minister Yoaz Hendel said: “The gap between the right-wing’s talk and their impotence is so glaring.

During the previous government, a similar demand was received from the US not to approve the construction of a new residential neighborhood in the center of Jerusalem – Givat Hashaked. The Minister of the Interior at the time, Ayelet Shaked, demanded that the construction be approved despite the American opposition.

Shaked told told Israel National News – Arutz Sheva in September: “As I promised, despite all the pressures from at home and abroad, the Givat Hashaked plan was approved today by the district committee. This plan is located in the heart of Jerusalem and it is unthinkable to prevent development and construction in this area as well as all over the city. This is an important plan that will lead to an increase in the supply of housing units, employment areas and public buildings for the well-being of the residents.”

The irony of the reaction, of the Israeli Left response to this demand, versus this current government is UNFREAKING BELIEVABLE.

In his speech, the Ambassador attacked the lies the Palestinian Authority and its supporters present at the UN. He said, “Over and over again, we have heard how the past year has been the deadliest year for the Palestinians…Yet these numbers and statistics are not facts. Not even close. They are based on a fundamentally flawed and biased methodology. A methodology of discrimination, which Israel refuses to accept.

“Let me explain what I mean. In his letter yesterday, the Palestinian Representative told the story for example Hamdi Shaker Abu Dayah. How Hamdi was supposedly shot and killed in cold blood. Yet what my colleague forgot to mention, was that Hamdi, a terrorist that Hamas posthumously glorified, was an imminent threat. Hamdi was actively shooting at soldiers in the moments that he was killed, and this occurred only one day after he opened fire at an Israeli bus.

“The vast majority of Palestinian fatalities and casualties are not innocent civilians minding their own business, they are terrorists neutralized in the midst of acts of violence.”

Ambassador Erdan added, “According to the UN report presented to you, here, only twenty Israelis were murdered by terrorists in 2022, when in reality thirty-one Israelis were murdered. Same goes for injured Israelis. The UN number 253 for injured Israelis, whereas the true number is 418. Discrepancy between the reports and the facts are in the hundreds. Israeli deaths and injuries supposedly do not matter….This may have been the deadliest year for Palestinian terrorists, but it was also the year with the most terror attacks committed against Israelis in a decade.”

    1. bill smith

The Ambassador also referenced the Palestinians’ decision to seek an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice in The Hague, “Let’s not forget that here in September 2021, while speaking in the GA, President Abbas brazenly threatened Israel on the global stage. In the same vein of consistent Palestinian rejectionism, he set forward an ultimatum. Either Israel gives in to one-hundred percent of the Palestinians’ demands – forget negotiations or mutual concessions – or he will turn to the UN in order to abuse the power of the ICJ. If threatening Israel with an ultimatum is not a unilateral step, I don’t know what is.”

Ambassador Erdan mentioned the steps taken by Israel’s Security Cabinet following the unilateral Palestinian Authority move to again abuse UN mechanisms in their appeal to the ICJ, “When Israel is faced with a threat of terror, like any country would, Israel acts to defend itself. So, when we were faced with the Palestinians latest one-sided act of multilateral terror, we refused to stand idly by. Each measure that was taken by Israel in response to this destructive resolution, wasn’t only justified and legal, but should have been taken long time ago…Nevertheless, the only reason Israel held off on implementing these measures, was because we did not want to harm chances for dialogue. Yet with the adoption of this resolution, the Palestinians stabbed a knife in the heart of any chances for dialogue or reconciliation. They proved that they are not interested in dialogue.”

    2. Proud Conservative Mom

      Erdan, of course is correct.

Every neutralized terrorist is painted out to be as pure as the snow.
Moreover, pictures are circulated of the mother of the murderer crying over her son’s body.
I have seen this a plethora amount of times.
      It makes my blood boil.

Israel is always painted as the aggressor.
Poor innocent Fakestinians who murdered and maimed Jewish People and got killed to prevent further murders.
      How dare Israel defend itself?
      What unmitigated GALL.

Finally, injured can mean the loss of a limb, not a small cut that is fixed with antiseptic and a bandaid.
      It’s not a minor thing.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that will not seek re-election and plans to step down no later than early February, Reuters reports.

A general election would be held on October 14, she added.

“This summer, I had hoped to find a way to prepare for not just another year, but another term – because that is what this year requires,” a visibly emotional Ardern said during the statement. “I have not been able to do that.”

Her term will conclude no later than February 7, according to Reuters.

Ardern said she believed the New Zealand Labour Party would win the upcoming election and added that a vote to elect the next Labour leader would be held on Sunday

I have a friend that is from New Zealand, and when I met her in 2007, she was already complaining about the leftist politics.

    1. Sapper 9

In the US ,ANTIFA only gets away with their violence in leftist controlled areas; if they don’t have superior numbers while armed, or the ability to find a few stragglers of old or weak, they don’t dare.

      Good afternoon Bill.

      That was an excellent article.

“Golan’s “sovereignty” is “sovereignty for me but not for thee.””

      EXACTLY.

Democracy, in Golan’s mind and through his despicable words, only exists if the Left is victorious.

Doug is correct in using the analogy of ANTIFA, to what Golan and his goons wants to incite in Israel.
      There is no difference.

Naturally, they don’t want to discuss anything.
The Left is irrational, tyrannical, and insane.
When they do not get their way, they
      respond with rioting and violence.

Doug’s closing paragraph is from the beautiful verse in Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together, says the L-rd. If your sins prove to be like crimson, they will become white as snow; if they prove to be as red as crimson dye, they shall become as wool.
(This is the power of Teshuvah (repentance.))

On 19 April 1775 the government attempted to disarm all Americans at Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts. My family told the government where they could go. In honor of that event I propose that today is National Firearms Day. Everybody should go out and acquire a firearm every 19 April

    1. Proud Conservative Mom

If anyone conducted their finances the way our government does and did, their credit cards would have been cut up ages ago.

For the government their solution is to print more money and dole it out to illegals, terrorists, Ukraine, etc.
      It just never ends.

  22. Proud Conservative Mom

    Good morning/afternoon everyone!

Apologies that I have been so very not present overall the past couple of weeks.

Please note that if I am not here at all, it means I got sick.

    Around and around I go.
I contracted more than a bad cold.

(I’m still on antibiotics for strep, which BH went away. It’s very frustrating and exhausting.
    BUT, it will pass.)

One of my oldest friends who grew up around the corner from my house, and is domiciled across the street from me made a wedding last night.

She told me not to be a no show despite a royal case of a rhinovirus (cold).
    Everyone is getting sick.

I went and kept a distance from everyone.
I’m so very grateful that Hashem enabled me to make it.
I sat for almost the entire wedding.
    But I made it.

If anyone gets sick, it’s my friend’s fault. 🙈🙉🙊
Truth be told, I was told that I could go by a friend of mine who’s a doctor.
She said there’s a plethora amount of viruses and strep going around my town.

    I won’t make the difference.

I hope I did the right thing.
    Sigh…

    I queried him about it.

    @nicetomeetyou2:disqus

“Morning, and just more Israeli politicking as usual. Aryeh Deri didn’t pay taxes or not enough taxes or whatever isn’t a criminal offence, or rather shouldn’t be so, but Leftist Judges can’t see passed their own biased

        Don’t even get me started.
I buy the Positive Produce bags of lettuce.
Their produce is grown in greenhouses and owned and managed by Orthodox Jews.
There are no bugs to check.

Do you know how time consuming it is to check lettuce?

We’re not allowed to eat any bugs, so it requires extremely meticulous checking.
A bag of Romaine lettuce is $8.00.

One has to be opulent to purchase basic food.
        It’s beyond insane.

Astonishingly to me…. the first hour or the first time I was in Jerusalem, walking around trying to find my flat, some Israelis came up to me and asked for directions… in Hebrew.

      1. Proud Conservative Mom

You must have obviously not looked lost, but how very ironic.

Did you know Hebrew at all at that point?

Israelis tend to speak a very rapid Ivrit (Hebrew). (Yes, I use the their dialect when speaking with them — unless I want to make them crazy.
        😂😂😂)

I’ve had to ask them to slow down several times when I was there last.
I don’t need it to be extremely slow, just not jabbering away. 😄😄😄)

Batya learned how to talk a bit slower when we converse in Ivrit. It makes a huge difference.

How did you finally find your flat?

        1. bill smith

I explained that I am not from there and they moved on. Shortly after, I found my flat… I was in the right area, just the numbers were not marked clearly.

    1. Weary Traveler

They missed a couple of parts. 1.) Blame the Jewish victim. 2.) Condemn the Jewish homeowner who happened to be armed, and shot the intruder their own life, and the lives of their family.

Oh wait… That sounds so familiar. Where else have I also heard that? Oh, that’s right. From Democrats.

        1. Weary Traveler

And they do it all in the name of “Morality”. It’s gaslighting.

I remember hearing very similar arguments from the commies/pacifists/moralists during the Cold War. They actually argued with a straight face that America should decommission all of our nuclear warheads because “it would be a sign of moral strength.”

Notice how those people never say the same thing to the other side? Same thing here. They never lecture Hamas for provoking Israel, and using their own people as human shields in order to lie and gaslight the world. Just Israel for defending itself.

Same with Progressive policing and prosecution. The victim is always blamed, never the criminal. And they argue prosecuting the criminal is prosecuting the poor. And are they ever called out for painting all poor people with the same broad brush as criminals?

No. Instead, they get called saints. We see the same thing with “refugees”, aka, illegal aliens. Ergo, Martha’s Vineyard and all the rich libTARD NIMBYs.

Again, and not to beat a dead horse, but this goes back to that article and why I think Christendom is shrinking, especially in the age of COVID. Because the similarities with regards to totalitarianism, sanctimoniousness and the cruelty of the hypocrisy between the statist left the church and are far too great to ignore.

          1. Proud Conservative Mom

“And they do it all in the name of “Morality”. It’s gaslighting.”

EXACTLY. They don the robe of self-righteousness and come at you with the holier than thou attitude.

The illegals are treated like royalty, while We the People are treated despicably while being milked out of every dollar that we have.
This country is so bankrupt, yet it’s virtuous to send boatloads of money for every nonsensical cause and reason.
When we object, we’re not compassionate enough.

I agree with your closing paragraph completely.
You’re not beating a dead horse.
            You’re stating the truth.

          2. Weary Traveler

And as they take ever dollar from us, and give it to the illegals, and other assorted deadbeats, they have the nerve to say “look at what a nice person I am.”

These are the holy rollers that make me want to play the roll of the devil.

I’m not even Jewish, and since learning there was a thing called “anti-missionary work”, I want to get involved, because destroying the church, and piety in general, has become a mission of mine, and for this very reason.

The way I see it. Since these self-righteous hypocrites, both in the church and on the left, like to think of themselves as Jesus Christ, then in that case, I would love to accommodate them by nailing them to a cross, and let the maggots feed on them.

Preferably in a place that isn’t too sleepy and lackluster because everyone has ASPERGER’S!! (Hat tip to Carolyn.)

But I don’t want the opposite extreme like New Orleans at Marti Gras either.

Add to that all of the Karens in your neighborhood, it’s enough to make anyone feel rundown and burned out.

I concur absolutely with your closing statement.

          2. Weary Traveler

There is a reason I basically only go out at night. Because most of the Karens are at home watching their woke garbage on Netflix, and I can go walk in peace without listening to any of their nonsense.

Carolyn tried to suggest doing some walks earlier, and I said that I am never up early for the reasons stated above. The only way that is going to happen is if I am given full immunity, so if I decide to pop one of these Karens in the jaw, I don’t get charged with assault, or murder should I ever decide that just punching them isn’t enough. LOL

The countdown toward a possible U.S. government default began Thursday with Treasury implementing accounting measures to buy time as frictions between President Joe Biden and House Republicans raise alarms about whether the United States can sidestep a potential economic crisis.

The Treasury Department said in a letter to congressional leaders it has started taking “extraordinary measures” as the government has run up against its legal borrowing capacity of $38.381 trillion. An artificially imposed cap, the debt ceiling has been increased roughly 80 times since the 1960s.

In this week’s Parsha, Pharoah makes all sorts of promises numerous times in the midst of the plagues. He beseeches Moshe Rabbeinu to ask Hashem to take away the plague. When it’s removed, he doesn’t keep his promises.

Rabbi Yerucham Levovitz ZTL explains that we shouldn’t be too hasty to mock Pharoah. The Torah comes from the word “Leharos” (to teach).

We are to learn a very powerful lesson from this.

How many times have we been in a difficult situation, prayed and said that we would do better in certain areas of life, and don’t follow through once the situation is resolved and/or passes?
    This is tragically human nature.

We have to be diligent to not behave like Pharoah, and to follow through on our pledges and commitments.

Roth was reportedly offered the position by Carr Center for Public Policy Executive Director Sushma Raman last May and accepted it the following month. However, the decision would be overruled by the center’s dean, Douglas Elmendorf, who concluded that Roth’s tweets showed an anti-Israel bias.

To my recollection, I would not call her actions as globalist; but, I would say that her actions at times were contradictory to the MAGA agenda, I would describe her more as a neo-con.
I believe that her policies were pro-Israel and she did remove the US from the human rights council over it having a “chronic anti-Israel bias”.
I wouldn’t vote for her by choice and admittedly my memories of her actions are vague, but, she needs to follow the path of the likes of Cheney and Kinsiger, never to hold an elected office.

    God? Who is God!?

    By: Rabbi Shraga Simmons

    Parshas Va’eira (Exodus 6:2-9:35)

The purpose of the Ten Plagues.

The story is well-known: The Jews want to leave Egypt, so God sends 10 fierce plagues … and Pharaoh’s opposition is adamant.

How is it possible that Pharaoh could fail to recognize the obvious deeds of God Almighty Himself?!

Pharaoh epitomizes denial of God. This is evident from Exodus 5:1, the first meeting between Moses and Pharaoh, where Moses utters the immortal words: “Let My People Go!” Pharaoh responds with bewilderment: “Who is God that I should listen to him? I don’t know this God!”

The purpose of the plagues, therefore, is to announce that God is running the show. Once and for all, loud and clear.

The 10 plagues are actually a progression, a process bringing Pharaoh to a recognition of God. Consider:

The first plague turns the Nile River into blood. Why? Because Pharaoh had been promoting himself as a deity who created the Nile, as he says, “I am the river and I created it” (Ezekiel 29:3). Pharaoh goes to such extents to preserve his godly image that he sneaks down to the river alone to relieve himself; hence God tells Moses to “pay a call on Pharaoh in the morning, when he goes out to the water…” (Exodus 7:15)

Moses turns the Nile into blood but Pharaoh is not impressed. His magicians are called in and they do the same. God might be a good magician, thinks Pharaoh, but He’s not out of my league!

    God of Nature

As the plagues continue, Pharaoh is moved along a process of increasing recognition of who God is. When Moses brings the plague of lice, Pharaoh calls upon his magicians to reproduce the phenomenon, but they can’t. “‘It is the finger of God,’ say the magicians to Pharaoh.” (Exodus 8:14)

Why were they unable to make lice? The Talmud (Sanhedrin 67) says because magic has no power over something tiny.

Like modern science today, Pharaoh’s magicians can gather and manipulate existing energy, but they can’t create the building-blocks of life itself. No matter how small a particle is discovered, there is always a foundation of smaller particles below that.

When Pharaoh’s magicians say “It is the finger of God,” they refer to God by the name of Elokim, which represents the power of God acting through nature. (Elokim has the numerical value of 86, which is the same as “HaTeva” – nature.) Pharaoh and his men had advanced one huge step along the continuum. They recognized God as the force controlling nature. But this was not sufficient. Pharaoh still refuses to let the Jews go. He wants to play hardball with God.

    One Step Closer
The climax of our Parsha is the plague of hail, where Egyptian resources are totally wiped out. Every tree is smashed, and every man and animal caught outdoors is killed (Exodus 9:25). As Pharaoh stands amidst the rubble of a country in ruins, he now declares, “I am wrong and God is right.” This time Pharaoh refers to God by the ineffable YKVK – the transcendent aspect of God that we cannot comprehend.

It took a lot of pounding over the head, but Pharaoh has finally matured in his recognition of God.

Yet somehow, miraculously, he still refuses to let the Jews go. How great is the human ego and the power of rationalization!

    God’s Awesome World
In many respects, Pharaoh’s process is our process, too. When we are children, we think we are the center of the universe. Then, through experience and trials, we become increasingly aware of things beyond our control. Whether earthquakes, cancer, the rise and fall of fortunes, even life and death itself… these can only be ascribed to a Higher Power.

In short, life is a series of such recognitions. But sometimes we get confused, we forget, and slip back in the continuum.

Why? Because with each technological advancement, we sense the unlimited potential of man. The 4-minute mile. A robot to Mars. Cell phones and the internet. We are in awe of what is humanly possible.

But where is our awe of that which only God is possible?! Gravity… eyesight… ant farms…

    Lessons Today
The commentators say that the 10 plagues were not only for the sake of Pharaoh. They were for the Jews as well. To watch and to absorb the lessons of who God is. That training is a prerequisite to the coming revelation at Sinai.

We’ve all got to reach that recognition. One way or the other, Pharaoh is going to acknowledge God and let the Jews go. The only question is whether Pharaoh’s route to that end will be in cooperation with God, or in opposition.

The Talmud says that “each person must see himself as if he personally came out of Egypt.” Our lives are filled with messages from the Almighty, designed to teach us His ways and draw us near. He has a plan, and we have the choice: To fit in, or to be cut out. The choice is clear if we only open our eyes.

    Deep Breaths

    By: Rabbi Dr. Mordechai Schiffman

    Parshas Va’eira (Exodus 6:2-9:35)

One of the first and most central interventions to help manage difficult emotions is deep breathing. When we feel intense emotions, such as anxiety, depression, or anger, our bodies tend to react physiologically by taking shorter and shallower breaths. By counteracting those quick and narrow breaths with a deeper breath, we increase the supply of oxygen to our brains, stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, and signaling to our bodies that we can calm down.

As strange as this might sound, deep breathing often requires training and practice. Many people take deep breaths with their upper chest, which can actually increase breathing rate and cause hyperventilation. An effective deep breath is known as diaphragmatic or belly breathing because it is done by focusing the breath below the rib cage, with the stomach moving, rather than the chest.

Toward the end of last week’s Torah portion, we are informed that after the Children of Israel saw the signs that Moshe performed and were informed that God took note of their hardships, they were convinced and believed in the redemption to come (Shemot 4:30-31). Yet, in the beginning of Parshat Vaeira when Moshe elaborates on the message of redemption, the Children of Israel do not listen “mi-kotzer ruach u-mei-avodah kasha” – “from shortness of breath and from the hard work” (Shemot 6:8). Many commentators understand these to be two distinct reasons for not listening (see Ohr HaChaim): it was difficult to pay attention because of all the physical labor (hard work), but there was an additional psychological component of being short of breath (shortness of breath) that contributed to the inability to listen. What was this psychological impediment?

If we survey the commentators, we can identify three distinct emotions that may have inhibited their ability to listen. The Midrash (Pesikta Zutarta) suggests that the Children of Israel were angry and that led them to subvert their original correct approach which was to believe in the redemption. While the Midrash does not state explicitly what they were angry about, perhaps it was because they were promised redemption and then nothing subsequently changed.

Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk suggests that they couldn’t process the message of hope because they were depressed. This is alluded to as well in the commentary of Rabbi Eliyahu Mizrachi who suggests that the Children of Israel were not psychologically prepared or receptive to messages of comfort because they were devoid of any hope. Rabbeinu Bechayei goes so far as to suggest that they were fed up with life and lost the will to live.

A third group of commentators focus on fear and anxiety as hindering the message of hope. For instance, Ramban suggests that the Children of Israel were afraid that Pharaoh or the officers would kill them. Maharal adds that besides the actual physical difficulty of the labor, they were also worried about the fact that the work was so difficult.

Regardless of whether one of the approaches is correct or if there is truth to all three, it is fascinating that they are all rooted in the term kotzer ruach, shortness of breath. The metaphor used to encapsulate emotional distress – whether anger, depression, or anxiety – is shortness of breath. Without critiquing our ancestors’ reaction in Egypt, perhaps we can learn a message for our own lower-level “hard work – avoda kasha” experiences. When we are confronted with difficulties and react with the shortness of breath of an unhealthy emotion, let us take a step back and take some deep breaths. If we can manage our anger, depression, or anxiety, perhaps we will have enough headspace to listen to the messages of hope and redemption.

Crazy times over here in Canada – if you get depressed and broke from gov actions on you – good news – they will KILL you and then harvest your organs – wish I was kidding. Stop the world, I want to get off! The world is going mad! It has also become very sick, teaching five year olds how to change their sex, and things like that. And don’t ask me about our (corrupt) government.. It’s a world-wide plague, like covid only worse.

An error in the reporting is at 230 where the man claims that they are teaching social justice. The are not teaching any form of justice they are teaching hate. The are attempting to make racism against anyone that may be white. They are the worst kind of people on earth willing to lie for hate.

        1. Weary Traveler

And that is the problem. They taught too many to hate. Hate each other and ourselves. God doesn’t believe in guilt. Why does man?

          1. Weary Traveler

Guilt implies culpability. So say you do something wrong, how do you make it right? And if it is something you can’t make right, what do you learn from it to be a better person.

We all have things we wish we never said or did, but even those things, to constantly beat yourself up over them, accomplishes nothing.

What is worse is that the left wants you to feel guilty for things you haven’t even done. Either way, guilt is a means of control to keep you from every realizing your full potential as a human being.

It is Satan who accuses, not God. That is the most important thing to remember.

I think Rabbi Tovia Singer said it perfectly = Thanks PCM for introducing us to him.

“Sin is not a person, it is an event. And it’s an event that happened yesterday, and yesterday ended last night. Today is a new day.”

    2. Weary Traveler

Oops… Accidentally downvoted by mistake. Fixed it.

This all only further solidifies my position that government schools need to be abolished.

        1. Sapper 9

I always use the term “government schools”, I hate the term “public” and yes, schools controlled by the federal government are a big problem.

        2. Gary Ritzman

First ban teachers unions. Until then no tenure after only 3 years teaching in most states. Once tenured there is no way to rid schools older unenthusiastic teachers. They’re hanging on long enough to retire with guaranteed income and healthcare. Teachers without tenure are fired even though have more enthusiasm to teach.

          1. Weary Traveler

They’re hanging on long enough to retire with guaranteed income and healthcare.

^And that sums up the problem, not just with teachers, but government employees in general. They took the job only for the benefits, which means that they already quit the job even before they filled ever so much as out the application.

Is it any wonder so many government workers tend to suffer from a major case of Asperger’s?

          2. Gary Ritzman

Very true. The other problem is redundancy. “Too many Federal Programs have similar or overlapping objectives, provide similar services or are fragmented across government missions”.
Guessing could give pink slips to 30 or 50 percent of government employees.

          3. Weary Traveler

I think we could eliminate even more government workers than that. They deserve to be on the unemployment line.

Actually, those ingrates deserve to have to sleep in tents next to piles of poop on the streets of San Francisco.

        1. Weary Traveler

I first heard that song at the DNA Lounge years ago.

That’s one of the things I miss about nightclubs. You got to hear some good tunes.

If I had it all to do different, I would have pursued a career as a DJ, and as a sound engineer in one of those places.

          1. Weary Traveler

There was a girl who used to live across the street from me that, well… Me and one of my friends who used to live in the neighborhood referred to as “Ms. Bangs-A-Lot”, because she was always on Tinder and hooking up at local bars.

She was my age, and she looked a good 10 to 15 years older. Her face looked like she lived in a war zone, it was so hard.

          2. Filter

      1. Weary Traveler

Just like Ayn Rand said; The man who speaks to you of sacrifice speaks of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.

Sacrifice is evil and needs to be abolished.

    1. Sapper 9

In most school districts the children get free breakfast , free lunch and in some , even free dinner, while their mothers get food stamps to pay for the same exact meals; they also go to the food pantries to get free food, they learn to milk the system.

There have been many times where I was approached by women offering to “buy” my groceries for me, with the expectation of me giving them 50% of the cost in cash.

      1. Weary Traveler

My friend Marty used to volunteer at our local food bank. He not only saw clients abusing the system, but the workers also.

Most of the volunteers are felons doing community service. In fact, when he first started volunteering, the first question the other volunteers asked him was what he was in for.

They were shocked that he actually volunteered on his own.

        1. Sapper 9

The food banks get donations from corporations and stores looking to download their food that is near expiration , getting them a tax write-off and a lot of their funding comes in the form of “grants” from the federal government.

      1. Sapper 9

But, but, but reparations, wealth inequality, yada, yada, yada………………………………………………..; the word is JOB and they should be required to get one.

I remember when the Obama USDA spent well over $100,000 advertising THE US EBT PROGAM IN CENTRAL AMERICA.

And all done in the name of helping your fellow man. It is so cynical and disgusting.

My friend, Julie, told a girl like this off recently. She showed me the text, and it was so brutal I couldn’t stop laughing. Instead of just telling her to get up off her lazy butt, she instead named another part of her anatomy. A part that is specific to the female anatomy. I am sure you can guess what part without me saying it outright. LOL

@proud_conservative_mom:disqus I Hope that you gets a chance to see this.

This is one of TWO Rabbi Lapin Videos. I am just finishing this one, and am waiting to review the other one. Good point being raised here about population, and the truth that not all people contribute positively to a society.

This goes back to my normal rebuttal to the BLM mantra which is NOT “All Lives Matter”. Not all lives matter anymore that a life matters, or doesn’t because of skin color. Individual lives matter.

      Good afternoon WT!
I just finished listening to this outstanding show.
I will comment on it in a couple of hours, Be’Ezras Hashem.

(I need to close my eyes for an hour or so.)

I was unexpectedly away from 9:20-1:30 today.

I scribbled bullet point notes for myself so I won’t forget my thoughts on it.

I have to catch up on my notifications, want to comment on this video, and if I can, read as many comments as possible.

Tomorrow, (BH, not Tuesday), and Wednesday, are going to be insane.

Wednesday, I am going to be loopy from needing to take Dilaudid again (as per the oral surgeon), in the morning. 🙃
My husband is driving me to Westchester. I start at 9:00. 🫣

TYMK for tagging me to it.

      1. Weary Traveler

There is a second one loaded a little further up the page. Hope you like both of them.

I’ve been looking in on Marty’s mother while he is in NYC. He should be back in a couple of days.

        1. Proud Conservative Mom

          Just finished commenting on it.

          I love his videos.

That was extremely kind of you to care for Marty’s mother so he could go to NYC.

I presumed he was an orphan.
I wonder why she put him up for adoption.

          1. Weary Traveler

I didn’t get all the reasons, but form what I gleaned, she was in a tough spot. Better she did that other than what some other women — it makes me sick to call those ghouls that — would do.

          2. Proud Conservative Mom

She indeed did the right thing by choosing to give him life!

Hashem will reward her for it.

I’m going to sleep early tonight.
I have to leave the house early tomorrow morning for the next phase of my dentistry.
I start the oral surgery at 9:00.

I pray that the Dilaudid will help the pain and that I won’t endure pain afterwards.

(I was instructed again to take Dilaudid before I have the procedure. My husband is chauffeuring me. I’m going to be loopy for several hours tomorrow. I hate the sensation, but it beats being in agony.)

    2. Proud Conservative Mom

      Here are my thoughts:

Firstly, I am not into superstition.

It’s important to note that there must always be a balance of good and evil.

People don’t know how to do the art of sorcery as they did in ancient times.
The Egyptians as you know, were a nation of people of whom many knew how to do witchcraft.

I didn’t know the history of the pentagram. I found it to be very fascinating.

YES! FAITH IS A VERY NECESSARY COMPONENT TO ALL OF THEM!
Without faith, it’s very difficult to achieve any of them.

I opine that married men are also driven to make more money than single men because they have loved ones who are depending on them.
(Of course, there are always exceptions.)

How very ludicrous that Ehrlich and Remington were taken so very seriously regarding the “Zero Population Movement”, when they were entomologists, for crying out loud! 😳😳😳

Of course, they had a skewed way of looking at humans.

Personally, I always found it the very height of arrogance and ignorance for any human to think that he or she can control any part of the world’s existence.
      Such people are pompous jacka$$es!
Indeed, these people are also psychotic.

Ehrlich and Remington obviously, didn’t have faith in The Supreme Being.
If they did (as well as their followers), they couldn’t possibly believe that there is anything remotely difficult or impossible for Hashem to do.
      Absolute MORONS.

Moreover, if one doesn’t believe in Hashem, it is all too easy to believe in gloom and doom and that the world will implode.

I concur absolutely with your statement.
      Not all lives matter.

There was a time in the US, when immigrants were selected by their being able to contribute to society and be productive.
The leeches were not allowed to come.
(Tragically the red carpet is rolled out for these people these days.)

Moreover, it is imperative for a good society to have MORALS and good institutions in addition to law and order

ABSOLUTELY, morals are learned from religion (not all religions, of course)!

Correct, the world doesn’t talk about the success story that is Israel very purposefully.
It is contrary to their theories
Israel nukes the entire industrialization argument!

YES! The collapse of fertility is a direct result of secularism.

Religious people have children and it’s not terrifying to have large families, it’s joyous!
      💯💯💯💯💯💯

I concur absolutely, that one would have to look at specific counties in the USSA that would prove Rabbi Lapin’s statement about fertility.
He is completely spot on about it.

CORRECT. One needs to have faith to get married and have children.

“The faith muscle is helpful to family and finances.”
(It’s helpful for EVERYTHING. I can personally attest to it.)

I love the fact that Orthodox Jews (unless one is divorced or widowed) are virgins when we get married.
I love the fact that I never shared physical intimacy with anyone else sans my husband.

Agreed that marrying on “feelings” alone is unreliable.
To be brutally honest, that’s just about sexual chemistry.
      That’s not a foundation for a marriage.

Common goals, the ability to communicate, dating intellectually rather than emotionally IS the difference.

I didn’t love my husband when we got engaged.
I liked him tremendously and knew that he was perfect for me.

The love developed when we were in the middle of our engagement and continued to bloom and grow stronger when we got married.

Judaism nurtures the physical intimacy and emotional and intellectual intimacy.

I really pray that Rabbi Lapin NEVER spoke in a Church, but in a building owned by a Church that doesn’t have any Church symbols.
It really perturbs me when he makes the statement of speaking in Churches.

As I have stated before there is no situation WHATSOEVER where that would EVER, and I DO mean EVER, be allowed.

      1. Weary Traveler

I think we know which religion in particular made the pentagram in to a symbol of evil.

Like I said about the church situation, I have no idea what that is about, and never got any warm and fuzzy feeling myself being around them, let alone ever in one. Even if it was just to drop off my ballot because a my local polling station was there, let alone being in one because of a wedding or funeral.

Needless to say, I am not interested in their services. I got a real dose of “Christian love” back in 2020 when I drove a good friend to her sisters church for an Easter service, and how I was treated because I wouldn’t wear a face diaper.

I told you the story. The pastor tried to apologize to me, but I wouldn’t accept his half-assed apology. Instead, I compare him to Neville Chamberlain. Needless to say I haven’t been invited back. LOL

One the one hand, when he talks about finance and marriage, there is a part of me that cringes a little. And not because of what he is saying, as it is how what he is saying, which is true, really points to the evil of the globalist agenda, and how it ruins lives in many regards. It’s death by a thousand cuts.

Basically, when they demanded I be a lab rat “for the greater good”, and I rightfully told them to take their jab and shove it, I was not only robbed of an income, I also had my value as a man robbed from me as well. May they rot in Hell.

That ties perfectly in to what a nutjob Erlich was. And sadly, there are “people of faith” who believe that, and all the other climate change nonsense. And I think we know which particular religion those idiots belong to. There’s more than a few “mega-churches” where the pastor speaks that nonsense.

Those would be the same Christians who would try to tell me after what was done to me by the globalist scum, that I should forgive “because Jesus forgave us.” Forgave us for what? And to which I would also tell them that right now, more than likely, their silly little man god isn’t where they think he is, and hopefully soon enough, they will be joining him and Paul there.

        1. Proud Conservative Mom

I don’t have any warm and fuzzy feelings when I pass by a church.
          Au contraire.
          My stomach turns over.

          YES! I remember that story.
          ROTFL!

Great analogy about the globalist agenda being a death from a thousand cuts.
It destroyed and continues to destroy so many!

‘Basically, when they demanded I be a lab rat “for the greater good”, and I rightfully told them to take their jab and shove it, I was not only robbed of an income, I also had my value as a man robbed from me as well. May they rot in Hell.”

          INDEED!

          AMEN AND AMEN! 👆

The pastors talk about Climate Change?! Oh, the insanity of it. It’s absolutely mind-blowing. 😱😱😱

“Those would be the same Christians who would try to tell me after what was done to me by the globalist scum, that I should forgive “because Jesus forgave us.” Forgave us for what?”

Yup. That would be the Modus Operandi because they’re from the same genre.

“more than likely, their silly little man god isn’t where they think he is, and hopefully soon enough, they will be joining him and Paul there.”

I GUARANTEE you that he’s not where they think he is.
I’ll share that information off of the blog.

          1. Weary Traveler

“I GUARANTEE you that he’s not where they think he is.
I’ll share that information off of the blog.”

I am pretty sure I more than violated the TOU of the blog with the statement I made that you were responding to, but all the gaslighting has really taken it’s toll. I am at a point were screaming at these people and cursing them out isn’t enough. I want to put my fist in some people’s faces, and repeatedly slam a car door on their heads.

Oh yeah there are pastors who push that climate change garbage. There were a few that came out during the Trump years. I’ll see if I can track down the article. Of course the fake news used this gaggle of tards to make the case that evangelicals in general were turning against Trump, which was not at all the case.

Yet another example of how they love to gaslight us to divide and conquer.

A fairly well-known name I could throw out of a pastor pushing that nonsense is a guy out of Southern California, Rick Warren, who runs a mega-church called “Saddle back”, and was best known in Christian circles for writing a self-help book called “The Purpose Driven Life.”

          2. Proud Conservative Mom

            I really feel for you.
You’re in a much tougher situation because there are very few normal people where you are domiciled.

            (Check your texts.
            I sent you the information.)

I wonder how much money these pastors were paid to shill for the religion of Climate Change.

            It’s utterly sickening.

“A fairly well-known name I could throw out of a pastor pushing that nonsense is a guy out of Southern California, Rick Warren, who runs a mega-church called “Saddle back”, and was best known in Christian circles for writing a self-help book called “The Purpose Driven Life.””

The name doesn’t sound familiar, but there are so many that exist.

Funny enough, most of these mega-churches and televangelists do not operate out of the “bible belt” as many would suspect. Most of them operate in Los Angeles and, if you can believe it, Las Vegas.

Where I am is not a good place at all. Speaking of… On my most recent walk with Carolyn, she let one of our neighbors have it. The woman was out walking her dog, and Carolyn, being nice say hi and compliments her dog, only to get a cold blank stare form the owner.

So as we move on, Carolyn says; Such a lovely dog”, and then shouts “EVEN IF HIS MOMMY IS ON THE ASPERGER’S SPECTRUM.” LOL

I got another Marty story for you, I just heard yesterday from his trip to NYC.

Some of the friends he went out to dinner with one night, were friends of his from college. One was this girl who liked him, but she was too liberal for him, and she ended up marrying this snowflake who was way more liberal than she was.

While they were out, Marty noticed a trans person, and pointed it out; “OMG. Dude looks like a lady.” “That’s a tranny.” The liberal girl’s husband got mad, and said “you don’t have to point it out. That’s a person”. Marty says, “yeah, that’s a person who is a tranny.”

After a little back and forth, the guy mentioned that his son was trans. So Marty responded as if he said that his son has a stroke; “Aw, man… That sucks. Sorry to hear that. I hope he gets better.” The best part was how the rest of the group was on Marty’s side. LOL

Please don’t choke yourself laughing. From the BBC :-

Tory Party Chairman Nadhim Zahawi says an error in his tax affairs was accepted by HMRC as having been “careless and not deliberate”.

In a statement, he said he wanted to address “confusion about my finances”
after claims he tried to avoid tax and had to pay it back.

He said he had chosen to “settle the matter and pay what they said was due, which was the right thing to do”.

Labour has called for the former chancellor to be sacked.

According to the Guardian, Mr Zahawi had to pay back tax he owed with a 30% penalty and the total amounts to £4.8m.

[He accidentally forgot to declare that he owed four million pounds tax]

I actually saw a Freedom Toons cartoon about this trying to parody it. I have a gallows sense of humor, and even I am unable to poke fun at what Trudy’s government is doing to people who are depressed. It actually makes me see red. And most likely, those poor people are depressed because of his government which tells you how humanitarian they are, while they themselves show all the compassion of a school of piranhas.

Oh, but we are told it is the liberals who have morals.

It started in earnest, in Mitzrayim (Egypt). Titus wasn’t original.

Speaking of Mitzrayim, I read a mind-blowing Devar Torah on Shabbos from Rabbi Avigdor Miller ZTL regarding remembering what occurred in Mitzrayim and why Jews are supposed to remember the miracles of the Exodus daily.

          Stay tuned….
I’ll try to post it ASAP, Be’Ezras Hashem.

Curious – that for some of us, we knew from the start is was a stink show. All one had to do was look up what a corna virus is – common cold/flu and even if it’s the worst flu of the century – it’s still not a pandemic.

          1. Weary Traveler

Correct. It is nothing more than a virulent strain of the common cold/flu with a scary name attached to it. I did not know what to make of the virus at first. I remember the cruise ship that was quarantined early on and then the passengers were brought to a nearby air force base. That ship was brought to the Port of Oakland which is just minutes away from me.

I honestly wasn’t too worried about that, if even at all.

The scariest part of it all to me was in mid March when the Shelter In Place order was issued in the City of San Francisco in mid March — which was the first in the US to lock down, and the rest of the state followed suit within hours. Interestingly enough, restaurants got real quiet even days before the lockdowns began.

The power the government exercised with Shelter In Place orders, Curfews, and other restrictions like social distancing, and later masking, was, to me at least, far scarier than any virus even if the virus really was deadlier than the Bubonic Plague of the Middle Ages.

My biggest fear was that once that power was gained, it would never be relinquished. And also shutting down the economy was a good way for them to try to get rid of Trump, which I, deep down, suspected was a major factor at play all along, as the dems were in full panic mode before COVID over the prospect of Trump easily winning a second term.

All I saw was Communism. And yes, I would much sooner suffer a very painful disease, and even die a painful death from it than live under Communism.

          2. Proud Conservative Mom

“The power the government exercised with Shelter In Place orders, Curfews, and other restrictions like social distancing, and later masking, was, to me at least, far scarier than any virus…”

As soon as we were told to lock down, I knew that Covid was the Trojan Horse for Marxism.

“It is nothing more than a virulent strain of the common cold/flu with a scary name attached to it.”

I know of many who suffered terribly from Covid.
            That includes myself.

I lost my mother’s first cousin who was like an uncle to me.
He had ZERO pre-existing health conditions.

I know of quite a few people in NYC who died from Covid.

            I wasn’t afraid of dying.
(I didn’t believe that after surviving situations where I escaped imminent death seven times that Hashem would kill me from a virus that 99% of the world survives.

            I had the Delta Variant.
            It was extremely miserable.

For six and a half months, I thought I would lose my mind.
That being said, I had zero regrets for not being jabbed.

            Breathing isn’t overrated.

BH, I haven’t had the flu in several years.
As rotten as it is, it lasts for a few days and is over.
            Not so with Covid.

I know of people who had no pre-existing health conditions who suffered terribly from Covid.

Indeed, there are those like @Sapper9:disqus who had a very mild case, BH.

However, what sets this crazy virus apart, is that everyone reacts differently to it.
That’s what my Covid doctor said.
            She’s correct.

That being said, I wouldn’t want to ever surrender my freedom either.

          3. Weary Traveler

Most of the cases I know of where pretty mild. Lasted roughly a week. My mom is sure she got it back in late 2019, and was really sick for two weeks. Obviously, it had a worse affect on some than others.

Regarding your closing statement, that is correct. I do not know of a sick person, unless they were truly evil, who would want to make the healthy suffer. A normal person who is sick just wants to do what they have to in order to get better. If that means staying home and convalescing, they will do just that.

Shutting down society would actually be the worst thing for them. Just as we saw how many people missed cancer screenings and other treatments during lockdown because COVID was given so much priority.

Throw in the panic buying, and bare shelves, it is now harder for loved ones to get what the sick person needs.

          4. Proud Conservative Mom

“Obviously, it had a worse affect on some than others.”

Correct. Covid reacted differently depending on each individual. That’s what made it such a crazy virus.

“I do not know of a sick person, unless they were truly evil, who would want to make the healthy suffer.”

            For certain!
Only a very evil and sadistic person would do such a thing.

Yup. People became anxiety ridden, depressed, suicidal, and missed very important screenings as a result of the lockdowns.

It was very destructive in all aspects.

    1. Proud Conservative Mom

Here are my thoughts: Firstly, I immediately thought of Mishnah Avos and Koheles (Ecclesiastes) before Rabbi Lapin started to talk about it.
      😊😊😊

I concur absolutely that women feel their biological time clock much more acutely than men. Our “expiration date” to have children is far less than a man’s ability to father children.

I love how he mocks wokeness, labels, and snowflakes overall!

When preparing and writing a Memorandum of Law, one needs to cite case law. One doesn’t get to first base with trying to win on appealing to an emotional aspect of a case. That’s madness.

      Yes! Age matters.
It makes a difference in how and what we are able to accomplish.

Good grief! I never knew about a sex robot. Rabbi Lapin is correct about the spirituality of the sexual relationship. It most definitely NOT isn’t just physical.
A sex robot wouldn’t address the giving and receiving aspect as well.
      💯💯💯💯💯💯

Mishnah Avos talks about what is appropriate for every age. It lists it in detail. Remember, all wisdom is to be found in Torah. It contains all of the secrets of the universe.

I want to address something that Rabbi Lapin didn’t mention. If you want to really understand on depth what the verses in both Koheles and Avos mean, one needs to learn them with the holy commentaries.
Without doing so, the depth and breadth of the message of the verses is partially lost and misunderstood.

He is so very spot on as well regarding how he advises men and women to conduct themselves both in their behavior and professions.

That’s a blueprint of how Orthodox Jews comport themselves. These things really matter.
TANACH and the Oral Torah are divine.
When we heed its wisdom, our chances of success are that much greater.

      This lecture was SPECTACULAR.
I highly recommend it to everyone (along with the others that you posted).

I got interrupted in the middle of listening to it twice..🤦

One thing I would add to what he said in regards to the woman being a receiver, I would argue she is also a giver.

Here’s what a mean. Biology = the woman receives the seed, and gives the man a child, creating a family. The man provides the shelter, the woman makes it a home.

Unfortunately, sex robots are real, and were introduced circa 2015/16. I read my fair share of articles about them as they were being discussed heavily. Honestly, it was so stomach turning.

Although I can sympathize with how soul crushing loneliness is, and how many of us men are being phased out and dehumanized, my sympathy starts to erode for a person when they go to that length. They empower the powers that aught not be by playing the loser roll they were assigned. By default, that is accepting the role “they” assigned to many of us, and not what god made them for.

They become part of the problem, and by default, helped make our lives harder as a result..

That also points to something else he mentioned I would have liked for him to have touched on further, especially when he was mocking the woke, and the excuses that they make. And that is that those who claim they can’t get ahead because of “systemic racism”, are actually the ones that created a systemically racist system, and of course benefit tremendously from it themselves, while someone who looks like me gets kicked in the face by it.

Oh, but if I dare point that out, I get lectured and ridiculed as they should have been.

I truly do resent our society.

        1. Proud Conservative Mom

YES! The women is very much a giver. She’s the nucleus of the household and in giving, via nurturing and caring for her children and taking care of her husband.
          I meant to address this.
I’m so very grateful that you highlighted this.

“The man provides the shelter, the woman makes it a home.”

I LOVE how you phrased that!

“my sympathy starts to erode for a person when they go to that length. They empower the powers that aught not be by playing the loser roll they were assigned. By default, that is accepting the role “they” assigned to many of us, and not what god made them for.

They become part of the problem, and by default, helped make our lives harder as a result..”

          🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯

“those who claim they can’t get ahead because of “systemic racism”, are actually the ones that created a systemically racist system, and of course benefit tremendously from it themselves, while someone who looks like me gets kicked in the face by it.”

You are correct. He didn’t address it enough. Agreed, these people compound the problem exponentially.

It’s beyond sick that speaking the truth makes one ridiculed.
          In fact, it’s absolutely evil.

Chatbot App Teaches Kids Nazis Didn’t Hate Jews

Historians have slammed an iPhone app that lets users ‘talk’ to famous figures from the past – but claims Nazi Joseph Goebbels did not hate Jewish people.

Historical Figures Chat, which was released on Apple’s App Store earlier this month, uses artificial intelligence to generate answers to users’ questions.

Goebbels’s answer claims the Nazi propaganda minister ‘did not hate Jews’, whilst the reply for Adolf Eichmann, one of the key organisers of the Holocaust, expresses ‘sincere regret and remorse’ for his actions.

Historians took to Twitter to slam the app, with one calling on Apple to ‘remove this trash from the App Store’ and another expert saying it cannot ‘go anywhere near a classroom’.

110,000 turn out to Tel Aviv rallies against judicial reform

An estimated 110,000 Israelis turned out to two rallies in Tel Aviv on Saturday to protest a proposed reform to the justice system. This is the third such event in the coastal city in as many weeks. Thousands more rallied in Haifa, Jerusalem and Beersheba.

Politicians addressing protesters in Tel Aviv included opposition leader and former prime minister Yair Lapid and Benny Gantz, a former defense minister and alternate prime minister.

Gantz said that “we encourage the protest and see it as backing for our political activity at the various levels. We can argue about many things, just not about Israeli democracy. We are ready to reach agreements on the reform, but that does not mean that we will compromise on democracy. There will be no compromise on democracy, the rule of law and a strong and independent judiciary.”

New – Two Palestinians arrested with knives in Israel, near Modi’in

Israel’s police announced earlier on Sunday that a stabbing attack was thwarted on Saturday in Jerusalem’s Old City

Two Palestinians were arrested with knives on Sunday at Israel’s Shilat junction, near the central city of Modi’in.

This all comes amid tensions boiling over in the West Bank, with Israel conducting its ongoing counterterrorism operation “Break the Wave,” in response to a series of terrorist attacks that killed multiple people in 2022.

The military operation has seen more than 2,500 Palestinians arrested in the near-nightly raids it conducts, along with 171 Palestinians left dead in 2022 and another 18 since the start of 2023.

It’s very therapeutic to be among very wonderful and like-minded people.

            It’s a safe haven.
            That’s huge for me.

Ben Samsara (not his real name), an awesome Noachide (for 10 years) with an insatiable appetite for Torah, sent this spectacular video to me.
I opine that you and @dr_darko:disqus (and perhaps a few others herein), will really appreciate it.
            It’s about ten minutes long.

It could be worse. He could have replaced the flags with little multicolored bloomers. LOL

          1. Weary Traveler

PCM told me that the word “incorrigible” is an understatement in my case, and that a new word has to be invented just for me.

          2. Weary Traveler

I hope it’s a cool one. If I ever get serious about DJ’ing, I can use it as my pseudonym. Or maybe a sock puppet account. LOL

I wonder if it would be as successful as the NPC Tard of The Year contest I held on W3P? LOL

          4. Proud Conservative Mom

Who won that contest by the way?
            Was it Jerry?

YES! I’m putting you in charge of making a spreadsheet if we need one.

Off of the cuff, I would also describe you as a firecracker.

You’re also the incorrigible and unapologetic verbal destroyer of all snowflakes and antisemites alike.
(As a sidebar, you’re an expert in the art of getting people to dance to the tune of your choice. Bill is a classic example.)

          5. Weary Traveler

Jerry won by a nose hair. LOL

Since you put it that way, a good pseudonym for me might be Machiavelli. LOL

And the irony is, when this whole thing started, they actually tried to compare Ukraine to Poland in the 1930s, and Russia to Germany. That narrative didn’t age well, did it?

    Happy Birthday PCM.

Today is the anniversary of the day that God decided the world could no longer do without you.

        1. Proud Conservative Mom

It was a rainy day, but the sun was shining in every way that counted.
(Stay with me on this. 😊😊😊
I feel like I am sounding like “The Walrus and the Carpenter.”)

Up until twenty minutes ago, my pain level was almost non-existent.

That’s extremely rare on such a day.

I made it to choir and was able to sing again.
(That always makes me very happy.)

I got the nicest and most moving message from my youngest son along with a bouquet of flowers.
It was one of the most beautiful cards I have ever received in a very long time.
He wrote me a poignantly stunning letter.
He thanked me for the big things and little things. Little things, are never really little.
One doesn’t expect such a detailed and loving letter of appreciation from a child.
(He was always exceptional and thoughtful.)

From my other children and family members, I had lovely messages.

His stood out in a class by itself.
(My mother’s did as well. She marvelled at what I survived and that I am still here.)

I want you all to know that I am so beyond moved by all of the extremely gracious and kind wishes from all of you.
          I’m totally blown away.

          🥲🥲🥲

          1. Weary Traveler

I was just think The Walrus And The Carpenter as I started reading. GTMA.

That is so great that you had such a good day. Especially to get that lovely card, knowing what a positive impact you had.

          2. Proud Conservative Mom

            Absolutely.
It’s wonderful to have a positive impact with every “client” that I work with.

It’s priceless when the feedback comes from one’s own immediate family.

My oldest son was very speech delayed. I fought the Board of Education (and won — thank you HASHEM).

I worked very hard with him.

When he was about 20, he called me from Bais Midrash (Talmudic College) to check in with me and see how I was feeling.
He told me out of nowhere, that he wanted me to know that he is very cognizant of everything that I did for him.
He added that everything that he is, was because of me.

One never does anything for their children to receive a bunch of accolades.

That being said, there are some from one’s children (and spouse) that one never ever forgets.

At the end of the day, being a positive impact on my family, is the greatest gift of all…

          3. Weary Traveler

A parent does what they do for their children because they love them.

So when a child recognizes what you do for them, they are saying that they know how much you love them, and how appreciative they are of it. It’s a fulfillment.

    1. Chief Mac

And there are 100s of thousands of those documents that he stole and gave to his university. Bet the number of classified documents are in the thousands

I am actually amazed, but on the other hand, they also have nothing left to lose. The CCP pushed too hard.

          2. Weary Traveler

Interesting fact; when COVID was unleashed, and they started to invade Hong Kong, their housing market was about ready to collapse and take their economy down with it.

The people there truly have nothing.

          3. Weary Traveler

It’s a very awful situation. I don’t know if you are familiar with the “ghost cities” in China, which are these mega centrally planned projects, most of which are empty and remain only partially completed.

Basically, you have people paying mortgages on these places that they can’t even move in to, and the government perpetrated this fraud with the lenders. So many Chinese citizens have lost nearly their entire life savings over this.

          4. Filter

They hide it from us; you really have to be eyes on everything to keep up on them. I’ve seen videos of the cities that sit empty – skyscrapers everywhere but not a soul around and you can see the places are empty.. it’s weird.

          5. Weary Traveler

I have watched some Urban Exploration videos about those places. It is really eerie. They had to demolish quite a few of them.

            Good evening Filter! 🥰🥰🥰

Two days in a row! 🥳🥳🥳

I hope you will be a regular again.
It really wasn’t remotely the same without you!

            Good Heavens!
One needs to dig very deeply into their ugly closet full of skeletons.

I wonder why they want to keep these buildings empty.
Is it to have a more concentrated population that would be easier to control?

But in that case, I don’t understand why they wasted money having these cities built at all.
            🤔🤔🤔

          7. Weary Traveler

I follow China pretty close, or as close as I can. Epoch Times, and Epoch TV are pretty good sources for that.

The show Marty and I watch, American Thought Leaders, talks a lot about China, and so does Crossroads with Joshua Phillip, and the NTD News show, China In Focus. NTD is an affiliate of Epoch Times.

Also, back in the day I used to listen to the John Batchelor Radio Show, and he talked a lot about it. One of his regular guests was Gordon Chang, who is a well known China expert.

          8. Proud Conservative Mom

            Good morning WT!
It’s always wonderful to see you.

I was really out of the detailed news loop for a long time because of health issues (I had this situation for practically two years straight. I was a zombie and half dead for a year after my abdominal surgery, fractured ribs and damaged hands, Covid, and six months post terrible side effects.)

There were other hair raising adventures over the past 21 years. I knew alot of what was transpiring in the world. However, nowhere near the depths that you were following it.

When one’s life is hanging by a thread on and off, the news takes a back seat.

            That’s just an explanation.

I’m very grateful for your sharing your expertise.
            ☺️☺️☺️

          9. Weary Traveler

I appreciate that. It’s good to see you too.

To tell you the truth, I would love it if news could take a back seat in my life, but for different reasons. Like I am too busy enjoying life, spending time with friends and family to have the time to be so consumed by it.

Knowing God is listening, sometimes I feel as if though I need to clarify what I mean when I say certain things. Probably from too many years of hearing idiots describe God like the Jinn. Like when I say “please get me out of this place”, that he would, but send me somewhere even worse like Bakersfield to “teach me a lesson.”

That’s the god of Paul, of course, that most people know, not the god of Moses. The god of Paul is like that messed up kid that enjoys pulling the wings off of insects for fun before he starts shooting at cats, and then grows up to be just like Adam Schiff or Farty Pants Fartwell.

            AMEN TO THAT!
I wish that for you as well.

CORRECT. The god of Paul is cruel and extremely vindictive.
            Not so regarding Hashem whatsoever.

The BBC, in an attempt to restore it’s lost reputation, and with the imminence of Holocaust Memorial Day, has shown two superb
documentaries tonight. The first one – How the Holcaust Began – is a very professional research into (primarily) Lithuania, and also
Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia and Latvia, and specically about the collaboration of the locals. (1 hour).
Next: The U.S. and the Holocaust – explaining the reasons why nothing could be done to destroy the camps or rescue the victims
(more complicated than I thought) (2 hours)

Hopefully both will be watched by many, anthough I doubt it (cynically)
Both of these taught me a lot that I didn’t know, which is a plus.

It would have been useful militarily for bombers returning from missions who weren’t able to drop their bombs on their targets, to drop them on railroads on the way back home. I was reading about that somewhere some years ago.

There is a pipeline of “ghost guns” that starts in central america, different stages of the assembly line are along the way.

These guns have fake manufacturer markings and bogus serial numbers.

I do not know if that is where they came from, but, a lot of guns on our streets come in this way.

What a damning expose from someone who literally was the head of the church, the so-called successor of St. Peter, who was head of the Apostles.

No wonder he didn’t want this published in his lifetime.
He knew what he was up against.
In retaliation, the church would have bumped him off in short order.

Ben Shapiro Defends Netanyahu: ‘Israeli Courts Are A Self-Selected Dictatorship’
    https://matzav.com/ben-shapiro-defends-netanyahu-israeli-courts-are-a-self-selected-dictatorship/
Conservative pundit Ben Shapiro defended the Netanyahu government’s plans to reform the Israeli judicial system, and excoriated media coverage of the proposed reforms.

Arutz Sheva reports that in a segment on The Daily Wire, Shapiro called the Israeli judiciary a “dictatorship,” and argued in favor of the reforms proposed by Justice Minister Yariv Levin (Likud). “Benjamin Netanyahu has come under fire from the Left for pursuing a plan to democratize the Supreme Court of Israel,” Shapiro said.

“The media are so hypocritical about this stuff…particularly in the United States. The media in the United States keeps saying that Benjamin Netanyahu is some sort of fascist, that the newly-elected Knesset majority in Israel is some sort of fascist organization for seeking to…change the procedures for Supreme Court’s nominees… so that they are nominated by the Knesset or nominated by the Prime Minister and then confirmed by the Knesset, which sounds very much like the American system.”

“Also, they want to make sure that because Israel has no constitution, the Supreme Court can’t make up some constitution and declare itself dictator. And somehow, this makes Israel more fascist. It is ridiculous.”

“You have to understand exactly how the Israeli judiciary works. It is essentially a self-selected dictatorship. The way that Israel selects its judiciary is absurd.”

“There’s no constitution in Israel,” Shapiro explained. “In the United States, the Supreme Court says ‘We are speaking in the name of the Constitution, we are striking down an unconstitutional piece of legislation.’ Israel’s Supreme Court says the same thing, but there is no constitution in Israel, so they’re basically just saying, ‘Whatever we don’t like, we can strike down.’”

      Sore Losers on the Left
January 24, 2023 by AFSI Staff
For the third weekend in a row Tel Aviv had thousands of protesters out on the street. Initially the protests were allegedly against the proposed judicial reforms, but many Israelis believe that the real protest is against a right-wing government. PLO flags can be seen amongst the protesters. Anti-Zionist slogans are abundant.

Just last Wednesday, Justice Minister Yariv Levin announced sweeping changes that would reverse the power grab by Aharon Barak that was engineered over the last 30 years. Barak’s grab gave the Supreme and High Courts power over the Executive and Legislative branches of the Israeli government. The Courts appoint themselves, the Attorney General and the legal advisors to the ministries. The justices can overrule all the elected officials using standards they set and are accountable to no one for the consequences of their decisions.

Melanie Phillips explains: “The courts control the appointment of not only their justices but also the attorneys who must appear before them—who therefore lack the independence essential in a democratic system—and even place a legal adviser in every ministerial office, with the power to veto any government policies to which the adviser objects.

These powers, which are unprecedented in any other modern democracy, are anti-democratic because they give unelected judges the power to strike down laws and policies enacted by those elected by the public to govern them. The judges can then impose their preferred policies.”

We pray that the type of reforms Minister Levin put forth are adopted with all due alacrity. We believe that all branches of Israel’s government as well as the general populace will benefit as democracy is restored. Overruling the Knesset’s decision to appoint Aryeh Deri as a minister and the specter of the Attorney general considering declaring the Prime Minister unfit to hold office are two glaring examples of judicial egregious overreach.

Yesh Atid leader, Yair Lapid agrees that reform is necessary. He would like to have a presidential committee decide how to best reform the system, even though there is a system and committee in place in the government to make such decisions.

Okay, I need to be really intensive here because I need to vent a little.

As you know, I live in the SF Bay Area, and also as you know, I describe it as “Asperger’s-Ville”, because the people here are so cold and distant, and have zero personality to speak of. I’m certain even the stuck-up puritans of the Victorian era were probably more fun to be around than the typical Bay Airhead.

Thinking about this on my walk earlier tonight, I remembered something Michael Savage said on his show, The Savage Nation, circa 2005, I am guessing, where he called Autism a racket. It wasn’t just liberals attacking him, but even other conservatives on talk radio. Most likely because big pharma companies like Pfizer advertise heavily on their networks.

He called Autism a racket, and I agree with him for more reasons than he mentioned in this short clip. Any genuine cases of it, I am willing to bet you are form vaccinations. Is it any wonder, when you have these organization raising awareness on Autism, they wont mention it, but act instead like it just comes out of nowhere? Kind of like how The March of Dimes refuses to acknowledge the fact that women who have had abortions are 50% to give birth to a premature baby.

I would argue, that what Dr. Savage says here, about “99% of Autism being some brat that needs to be told to cut the act” doesn’t just apply to unruly children, usually with a single mother I might add. Yeah, I said it. And just to be clear, I am not talking about some poor widow whose husband was killed, or murdered. I am talking about some human broodmare on public assistance, and gaming the system. Or even just some bitter harpy like the hags on The View that nagged her husband away, or some glorified bar skank living by the “man, fish, bicycle” mantra because “she can do it all.”

But it also applies to many adults. I see them walking around the streets of the Bay Area, and just like a bratty child, they need to be smacked across the face a few times, and given an attitude adjustment.

Personally, I would like to drown these stuck-up, boring and stupid people that I live around, in a bucket. If that can happen to poor little puppies and kittens who did nothing wrong, other than just be born through no fault of their own, then why can’t that happen to all the Karens?

But how did they get that way? Big Pharma/vaccine injury? Technology? Rotten parenting? Chemicals in the food and water? A corrupt and broken public education system? All of the above?

according to a Harvard University and University of California, Berkeley, study published in Current Opinion in Psychology in 2015 (pdf), people with honest hearts are less prone to viral infections. This is because the cortisol responsiveness of liars is significantly higher than that of truth-tellers. And the higher the cortisol responsiveness, the easier it is for the stress hormone levels in the body to rise.

Corticosteroids and cortisol have an inhibitory effect on immune cells and suppress the body’s ability to fight viruses. Therefore, dishonest behavior will lead to a decline in antiviral ability.

Interesting conversation, but I think towards the end, that Peterson doesn’t fully understand the difference between right and left, and is being tripped up by the words “conservative” and “liberal.”

My interjection here would be this; The left is about large centralized professional government. The right is about small and limited decentralized government.

The left made claims the institutions were corrupt, and played the populist card to infiltrate the institutions, and corrupt them. Which, by the way, happened long before the 90s when the hippies of the 60s and 70s had got in to positions of prominence in politics and business. Try roughly a century of uniparty infiltration. And now that has all come to the surface. That is the “paradox” Peterson is referring to.

The Sovereignty Movement responds to the disturbing findings arising from the article and the investigation by Ad Kan: “The required quick and effective blocking of the Arab process of taking over the heart of our Land will only come with the application of Israeli sovereignty over the entire territory. The vacuum created by Israeli governments in recent decades has resulted in a de facto security and legal inaction which is well exploited by the Palestinian Authority and backed by foreign funding and support.

The time has come to put an end to this situation. The present government has the power to lead the required change and to express the will of the majority of the Jewish People, as was expressed in the results of the elections and the vision of generations and longing by the People of Israel for full Jewish sovereignty over its Land”.

The movement also emphasizes that “These disclosures by various organizations, which are doing everything they can to bring about public awareness of the severe situation, are important but not enough. The government ministries must take responsibility for what is happening in the field and each act in its own field to prove the eternal and historic of the connection between the People of Israel and its homeland”.

The co-chairwomen of the movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, go on to repeat the call to the Israeli government to bring about the application of Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley first, as a measure which enjoys a broad national consensus, does not entail a demographic challenge, establishes Israel’s eastern border and conveys a strong and Zionist message to the entire world, to Israel’s neighbors and especially to the People of Israeli itself regarding the State of Israel’s return to the path of Zionist holding in the Land of Israel, building, settlement and security. “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised this to the voting public who gave him the mandate to fulfill the first, dramatic step of the dream of sovereignty. All the members of his government agree to the step and even among the opposition many support it. If not now, when?”

That can be said of pretty much Democrats. Brandon. Newsom. Maxine Waters. Hank Johnson = the tard that thinks an island can “tip over and capsize”, and of course, the donkey girl, AOC. Just to name a few that come to mind.

Huge wind turbines — taller than the Statue of Liberty — are toppling over in a ‘rash’ of incidents

I totally hate those things, and would love to see those things gone. I even get enjoyment from the videos of those things collapsing in a storm. Although, being the geek that I can be, I do find the videos showing the insides very interesting. I found this one a while ago, which was filmed from the inside looking up the shaft, and you see just how much these things actually bend.

Exactly. They’re also an eyesore. We have a bunch of them out here in the delta and Altamont Pass area.

        1. Filter

They’re all over the place up here and they are energy suckers as they require heating even when they’re NOT producing the tiny bit of energy that they do under optimum operations.

    1. Proud Conservative Mom

I would never describe you as a geek.
      🤣🤣🤣

I hate those wind turbines myself.
I’m thrilled that they’re getting destroyed.

I hope no one gets hurt.
(Not counting Libs and missionaries in that statement.)

      1. Weary Traveler

The chances of them injuring a human being is usually very low as these things tend to be in very remote areas. The only people at risk are the the people who work on them, or nearby farm workers.

    1. Filter

He should reject them. Fookbook is a joke – we get put in FB jail all time. I don’t bother with more than twitter/fb. That’s enough.

        1. Weary Traveler

They will just threaten to delete their accounts. Every time they threatened to leave the country when we voted for a republican, we voted for a republican in droves, and they don’t leave.

75% of the $110,000,000,000.00 that we have sent in money and weapons is NOT accounted for; recently a large group of government officials in Ukraine resigned over mass corruption.

Part of a world wide deception by the arms industy and government. Keep the world fighting in never ending conflict. In this way no one ever sees that there is no need for government

US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib posted a picture of herself smiling and standing next to a Palestinian

flag she hung in her office on Wednesday in protest of the Israeli government’s ban on Palestinian flags in public spaces.

“Palestinians may be banned from flying their flag under an apartheid government, but we can still proudly do it at my office,” Tlaib wrote on Twitter.

“I’m proud to be a Palestinian American and I want the Palestinian people to know that not all Americans support apartheid. No one can

    erase our existence.”

Their flag, in the context of their mufti, is a direct extension of the flag used in Germany until 1945. It should be banned and for good reason.

Seems very simple to me…. if one does not want to be neutralized by the IDF, don’t start shooting at them.

The Surgeon General has determined that engaging in terrorist activities is dangerous to your health!

          1. Sapper 9

A terrorist being tortured and in unbearable pain is ok with me, but, since that is part of the death process, it doesn’t contradic your point.

The West Must Never Again Go Totalitarian

    https://brownstone.org/articles/the-west-must-never-again-go-totalitarian/

“Never again, said the world’s peoples in the late 1940s, and they began the difficult task of uncovering all that had been done, all that had gone wrong. “

One only has to look at where we are now to see that humanity failed miserably in that endeavor. “Never again” devolved to a hollowed cliche, and then would be weaponized against us by those on the left who, in actually, were just chomping at the bit for the first opportunity to to do it again.

“”What Malice’s book so expertly chronicles is that elites can be wrong. Wrong in facts, wrong in morals.”

Two things right off the bat…

1.) These people are not elites, they are elitists. They are overly privileged arrogant a-holes living in bubbles with other sanctimonious phonies like themselves, where they are fully insulated from real world issues. Most of whom are just glorified welfare queens living very lavishly off the fruits or our labor.

2.) Calling them naive, or even going so far as to call them stupid is giving them a benefit of the doubt that they do not deserve. In reality, these people are megalomaniacs and sociopaths who are evil beyond even their own comprehension. And it is time to start saying it. Call them what they really are, so we can finally start dealing with them accordingly.

    1. Proud Conservative Mom

      This is a phenomenal article.

Comparing the 2020 Scamdemic and the propaganda to what transpired in the U.S.S.R. and their government run media is extremely spot on.

There are indeed many people who I wonder about, who just lined up to get jabbed.
I know quite a few very intelligent people who did so.

It’s very chilling when the author compared it to Nazi Germany.

We who refused to go along with getting jabbed, WILL be the unsung heroes.
We’re not mysteriously dying from weird
conditions and getting Covid multiple times.

      1. I agree that these people are elitists, precisely as you described.

      2. Heck NO. These people weren’t and are still not naive. These are diabolically evil people who had everything planned perfectly for a very long time.

      1. Weary Traveler

“There are indeed many people who I wonder about, who just lined up to get jabbed.
I know quite a few very intelligent people who did so.

Dr.Mattias Desmet talked about this, and how the more educated among us tend to be the more susceptible. Without wisdom, all their knowledge is just trivia that would make them good contestants on Jeopardy.

It also ties to what George Carlin said about how education actually IS the problem. Because governments don’t want smart people, they want obedient workers.

        1. Proud Conservative Mom

That would go along with the line that frequently crosses my mind: “How could such intelligent people be so moronic?!”

I opine that the fear mongering got to them.

“Without wisdom, all their knowledge is just trivia that would make them good contestants on Jeopardy.”

Desmet is extremely spot on, as was Carlin.
